thats it. as a long time packer and chris simms podcast fan, its pretty obvious what is wrong on the football field for the jets: rodgers and hackett havent been evolving... they have been recycling the same concepts forever. all the smart DCs will be all over their stuff...

Everyone is just assuming rob is responsible for the defense because of the position he left. But what if jeff was doing such a good job that rob barely bothered to have input.... that would mean that we have been giving credit to a guy who litterly did nothing, and the guy actually responsible for any of the jets success is in charge now..... that..... thats why you make that move..... this isn't really rocket science. It isn't usually management doing the work, it's the workers under the management..... it wasn't rob, it was Jeff doing all the work on defense. he’s a HEAD COACH. Bill Belicheck was Proficient in having knowledge of ALL THREE SIDE of the football. You’d never here Paul Brown, Lombardi, Landry, Parcells or Belicheck say that they’re a coach for only for a particular Side of the football. People keeping saying Salah job was defense but HES NOT A DC HES A HC. If he didn’t want the Full HC responsibilities he should’ve stayed in San Francisco!

The "problem" long predated anyone ON the roster now! Broadway Joe won a fixed Super Bowl at the time of the merger. Focusing on Saleh is ignorance of history. And Saleh KNEW this when he was recruited. Paid to live in a mess of many decades. Big question? Did he like the money offer that much? Well, he can get a place like Flores and Zimmer did. Maybe better ownership?

As much as I would hate it, Washington would be the best place for Adams. They have a young, dynamic QB and apparent long term stability. They may not be ready to compete for a SB this year, but they could make the playoffs. With Adams, the next few years would be interesting there.

Fields hasn't been great. But far from bad. Had the defense stopped the Cowboys in the 4th quarter 1 time the Steelers are 4-1. Fields hasn't been the reason they lost either game it was the defense. To bench a young QB who is getting better for an old QB who has been bad for years is stupid. Wilson is not the future or even the present. Fire the defense not the QB.

Everyone knows Rogers is the problem - everyone. It's a POS person and a terrible QB now. Also, he's a worst leader. Not showing up to practice, not leading the team, not leading by example, etc. Rogers is a coach and team KILLER. How he behaves is reflective of a toddler having a temper tantrum.
