♡ i might get it wrong sometimes, but i promise you, i won't stop trying to be the best dad that i can be until the day i die. ♡
i don't think i've ever seen it really talked about how robert sacrificed his freedom not only for aaron, but for seb as well. there was a massive shift in character when robert met seb, and i always think of the comparison between 2015 and 2019 and how incredible roberts character development, in so many ways, is. especially when you think of the line in 2016 "if i go down for this... i couldn't do it, it would kill me" to then handing himself in, in 2019 instead of running like he had the chance to do, so he could lead by example for seb by owning up and facing the consequences of his actions. roberts exit really reflected the little speech his said to seb at home farm, and it just makes me love robert and his development even more.
honestly the one thing that brings me comfort about this whole thing, is that even if we don't see robert again, if robron never reunite, then at least i know that one day robert and seb will be together again.

MY GOD........ it hurts. This is honestly brilliant and it really drives the point home that one of the biggest reasons Rob made the decision he did was to be someone Seb can look up to. The impulsive bad decisions (hurting Lee) will always be a part of Rob’s personality - it’s what he does now to deal with the consequences that shows the growth in his character. I love and miss Seb so incredibly much.

So happy but yet so sad 😞. It’s so unfair they cut seb and Aaron’s contact. I feel like the show only did that because of COVID and to limit child actors though

i highly doubt that's true, they cut contact between aaron and seb before covid even hit the uk. emmerdale were never going to keep seb on without robert. they rarely had seb visiting even with robert there, so there was no way emmerdale were going to have the dedication of having seb continue to visit without rob, and plus as a soap they would want aaron to move forward without having that constant connection to robert.
