Hi mate, just dropping by to make sure you're still creating beautiful music. It's truly inspiring. Anyway, I stumbled across your video while researching SPL Crimson. And my hypothesis seems to be true, SPL Crimson is better for music, it has slight bump on lower mids, and a warmth around -+1kHz (possibly a bit of nudge around those frequencies). So if you use Presonus audiobox, or even audient id22 it's hard to get this warmth for this type of music. You seem to pick the right gear for your type of music. Cheers mate!

+Az Rayne Own the crimson and I've enjoyed recording through it . But it could be just that my acoustic guitar is good sounding because the crimson is pretty neutral to the source .In my 2 years of use with them , they have gone from sounding crappy with bad sources to sounding deep and soulful with good sources, especially acoustic music. Never felt it has a bump anywhere. It sounds flat. Id say some interfaces rather have a scoop in the low mids to make them sound more open.

+Az Rayne Hi Az! I've owned two SPL Crimsons, and both had bias to the left speaker/headphone at low volumes, which I've found frustrating. Other than that, it's fine.

How do you record audio and video at the same time?

Hi there, I have the guitar plugged into my computer to record the audio, and I line it up manually with the camera footage in Sony Vegas Pro. I then delete the sound recorded by the camera.
