Katie did love Andy but then preferred Robert and broke Andys heart. They did the wrong thing by lying about daz and Victoria. So Katie slept with Andy again because she heard Robert had an affair. Didn't Robert? You can see why Jack couldn't stand Katie by coming between her sons. She had no right sleeping with Andy for convenience again. Jack did come round to Katie when he found out Robert did lie and have an affair

he still didn't like Katie and was wary of Andy taking Katie back afterwards, even after Andy went off with Jo he said it was karma., then he come round and felt some sympathy as both his son's dumped on her.

You can see Jack is sick of seeing his sons hurt over Katie. He's just being a good dad. She was just going between them. But Andy and Robert had issues before. Katie was no innocent either. She ran at the first sign of trouble. Between both of them. She might as well have stayed with Robert. He did love her or he wouldn't look so sad. Then he killed her years later

Robert cheated on her after she left Andy for him, so can hardly blame for her questioning if she can trust Robert, I think cheating is kind of a deal breaker and she only left Andy like months ago. But if she loved Andy she wouldn't of cheated so...... It why she left the village but goes back to Andy, then he goes off with Jo. and she says Andy 2nd best to Robert dunno if she saying that to save face or she actually meant it.

@@martinboyd899 Katie chose to cheat on Andy and leave Andy, when she aware of how he treated Donna and Elaine, he also chased his own brother girlfriend, why did think Robert would be loyal to her? plus Katie strung them both along, Andy also cheated on Katie as well.

​@me-sr7verevenge, both were Jack's son! He did not usurp anyone, Robert always thought the grass was always greener and got involved with the wrong family. Jack had other children too, it is not always about Andy and Robert.

​@me-sr7vealso did you watch the episodes about Sarah's death, the court had split the family up after the divorce, Andy did not know Sarah was there but was the only child living with Jack at the time listening to his father drinking and crying at night that the farm was going under. It was an insurance job that Andy couldnt have possibly known that Sarah- his mother as well- had came home after running off with her 20 something fling.

@@blakeseven5305 Sorry but I don't agree once Andy come along he replaced Robert and Andy even rubbed it in how Jack loved him more, also Andy did everything to push Robert out , he even said he didn't want Robert to come back when he was left to grieve Sarah, so i disagree about Andy not usurping Robert, you can see Jack favours Andy over Robert even after Sarah death. Jack did have other kids yet he put Andy over both Robert and Victoria even after he caused Sarah death and soon got over Andy trying to murder Robert and shooting him. But it always how Robert hurt Andy and never the other way round. after all Andy did, Robert is the one who gets sent away no wonder he felt Andy was favoured.

@@blakeseven5305 And? he still chose burn down a barn which resulted in Sarah death and Robert losing the only parent/person who probably actually showed some interest in him and then Robert was left feeling like the black sheep after Sarah was gone in his own family and pushed out by Jack and Andy, but Robert was bad for not putting up with it. but it ok because Andy is the good little son who has best interests at heart but Robert evil for not wanting to be a farmer, is any wonder Robert turned out so well? I do lol you say Sarah run off with her fling but forget she probably would never strayed if Jack hadn't had his gross affair first.

@@blakeseven5305 I agree Andy and Robert slept around more than her, also Katie kind of saint compared to Robert and Andy and their crimes too. Is because she cheated on Andy with Robert. tbf she was young and realised what a mistake she made when Robert had an affair. Andy cheated on Katie too with a woman he proceeds to beat up for months, and think he cheated on others too. Robert also cheated on everyone he ever been with.

Robert imo very much went out his way to hurt Andy. Katie and Debbie one up on Andy, Donna for casual sex and someone he can pick up and drop like a toy and to annoy Katie, Elaine- when got bored of Donna, Sadie - when he got bored of Katie, Chrissie for her money etc and Rebecca and Aaron and so on when he got bored.

As a teen watching Emmerdale I thought Patsy Kensit was stunning but now at the same age as her then I realise she had far too much botox on her face and it aged her. She'd no need for it.
