Hay he is stinking fucking rich. And yes you can say it's not about the money man. Well when you had been chugging along as Robert had when he got the gig in Mettalica and a million dollar sign on bonus. Yeah he payed his fucking dues now he gets to chill and not completly destroy his fingers. If it's not about the money which for the first 20 years or so I guess not but why don't you just ask Dave Brockie if at some point it's not about the money? Oh what what's that oh really Dave Brockie is dead? THE MIGHTY SPACE GOD ODERUS ORONGUS from GWAR is dead yeah he is died of an overdose March 23 2014 he was 50 years old. Now he always said it's not about the money he didn't care about that but after 30 fucking years and at 50 do you think he would of been happy being broke or getting by and playing in GWAR or being as rich as metallica or half as fucking rich we'll anyone younger then 40 I'll answer for you FUCK YES IT WAS ABOUT THE FUVKING MONEY BY THEN YOU FUCKING IDIOTS. Do you think a guy who never really had a drug problem drank sure drugs not so much would of died if a heroin overdose if he was as rich as metallica fuck no. I mean ODERUS ORONGUS OKED A POUND OF CRACK A DAY BUT NOT HUS HUMAN SLAVE DAVE BROCKIE. after a while it's always about the money kids don't fool yourselves... RIP DAVE BROCKIE AKA ODERUS ORONGUS 64'-14' GGGWWWWAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Does everyone know Metallicas past history? Is everybody who is commenting on this thread learned on metallica's history? Just curious. Because everybody seems to be talking shit on Lars and don't get me wrong but fuck him, I mean talk about some fucking huberous on that fucking jack off. I mean he plays music like a fucking amputee! Can't hold a note can't carrey a fucking tune. What I am saying is I am very aware that the most popular Metal band in history would not exist if it wasn't for that fucking Danish half twit named Lars Ulrich. It's his band and was formed by him. Now they might all be equals now but he put the add in the paper he picked the line up. So he might not be the best or even amazing but he plays in the pocket solid and the first 3 albums are a bitch especially an Justice for all I have played for 25 years and lived most of that in the Bay area were I was lucky enough to meet them along with many bay area and so cal epic thrash & metal bands so show some respect. If James did not steal most of Ride The Lightning minus the solos from there origanal lead guitarist DAVE MUSTAINE of Megadeth fame they would'nt be were they are today. Besides all true thrash metal musicians and fans know MEGADETH- RUST IN PIECE is the best Thrash album of the 80's-90's... Cheers

@@jasonbrandau1132 Lars is still ass. No matter what you bring to the table. He was in the right place at the right time. Thats all he has going for him. He has never been an influence or in any top 10s, that proves enough that nobody likes him. He was piggy backing off everyone else. He got lucky. That was it.

Sad to say, but most Metallica fans can't handle Pantera, nevermind Meshuggah, more than half the crowd would hate it. Most Metallica fans from the black album arent' even real metal fans, they just got on the wagon. @TDFC09 Carlsberg doesn't make comments, and even if they did, they wouldn't come close to the quality of this one.

Robert is unbelievably talented and I was excited to see him join Metallica. I love Metallica but have yet to see him seem challenged with them.

Man meshuggah is obviously sick. But writing off metallica is just crazy. I went to see them a couple years ago in tampa, expecting a washed up version of my favorite band. But what I got was an insane live show. Top 5 best I've seen.

@TDFC09 they're also opposites. Metallica's music is very mainstream and accessible, while Meshuggah's is - as one reviewer puts it - as accessible as Mt. Everest and they're as weird as you can get.
