My mom and I loved his shows. Gone too soon, but he always had a positive attitude.

It sucks he died so early. He was genuine and thats was what his audience/fans were drawn to. I am watching Spencer for hire...I used to love this show as a kid. It sucks it only last 3 seasons. He was a great actor and he was so genuine on screen and watching this interview just proves what a great human being he was. I read that his son is now a doctor and he spoke very highly of him. Pretty cool human being. He lives for us all on television and film. For that I am thankful. God bless his family and he will live in our hearts forever. ❤

@@brettthebassist I remember watching it in syndication in the mid 80s as a young kid. Just got the entire series on DVD a few months ago.

so sad Bob was taken from us at such a young age! he really was great guy, one you never heard anything negative about... unlike so many actors of today.

Bobby was always so inspiring, even through pain & sickness & with the rubbish & backlash coming from the industry due to his illness. Yet he never caved in or gave up. Truly remarkable stamina. Not only was he tremendously talented, he was breathtakingly handsome, yet he did not realize this. He always had a twinkle in his eyes & it was never lost throughout his life journey. He was also off the cuff immensely comedic, just funny, & extremely humble & generous with his time & giving. He was a hunk of a man, both in stature & character & simply gorgeous to look upon. I will forever miss his smile. He is forever missed, & in my estimation, taken home way too soon. He had more to give, but for his 55 years, he gave it all. He won the battle; & won the more important role: being home, freed, with Jesus! ✝ Missing you Handsome! 💋Can't wait to hear you singing again. 🚿💘
