What a raw, down to earth, no bullshit interview! Kudos to you, @Spanian for allowing Roberta to just let her flow with her story and not cut her off or try to project a narrative! Would love to see more of this kind of content from you- not taking away from your other content... love it!❤ Rock on Brother with much love to you🫶🤙

Spanish is a good at letting people speak. She’s no victim, the most accurate thing said was that she is no one. Profited off her drug dealing murderous husband. She didn’t seem fussed about the drug overdoses and deaths. Disgrace

It annoys me when people that live a life of crime say "im proud that dhs have never been in my life" when the only reason they didn't get their kids taken was because they had family willing to take care of the kids.

Fuck right off! The reason dhs weren't involved is because her children were well cared for and adequately provided for. Do you honestly think for a minute they wouldn't have tried to take her kids. Children are abused and neglected by people. Different kinds of people from different walks of life with a plethora of excuses.

Roberta, as a mother myself, I am so very sorry to hear about what happened with your mother. I cannot understand it either, I'd take a bullet for my child too. I can't imagine the heartache you experienced at such a young age. You didn't deserve that. You deserved a mother that cherished you and loved you unconditionally and I hope you are now that mother to yourself. You seem so balanced and happy which is wonderful. Thankyou Spanian for interviewing Roberta. She's such a strong, courageous, inspiring woman and Mum. I didn't know much about her b4 now except she was Carl William's wife.

One of the best interviews I have seen with Roberta, you let her speak, and listened ... you didn't corner her like reporters have in the past , , you can see how her eyes light up when she talks about her children, and grandies ❤️ sometimes we have do things that we know aren't right but it's a way to survive at the time and provide the best you can for yourself and your children.,,, and if you've never Been cared for , or Loved and taught as a child then how would one expect you to lead the life of an adult who was💁‍♀️

Roberta is an amazing woman. After watching this, and the small amount of time listening to her speak without a reporter baiting her and antagonising her, making accusations and then expecting a decent interview or "story".. then portraying her as a violent and dangerous person.. makes me so furious. A woman who has been through the worst comes out stronger than anyone who has come up against her, and still holds her head up and loves her kids unconditionally... She deserves so much happiness and success.. the underbelly producers and creators should be held accountable for defamation of her character and the subsequent years of social stigma associated with the show.. why would they not speak to her and get it right!? Great interview, much respect

I love it how you interview people and you just let them go. Your not interrupting them every chance you get to change the narrative and you make it all about them. So many people who interview others are constantly talking over the top or cutting in and usually turn the whole interview into a personal attack on the person to create controversy for views. 🤟

She chose to deal drugs and that put her children at risk, but she wants to blame others, like the police. She says Carl was a beautiful person, well is this the one who ordered 10 murders? That is a complete coward. That is why he was topped in prison. If I am wrong please tell me why I am wrong. I am only going by what was in the press and your admission you were selling drugs. Was Carl making drugs or not?

Best interview yet hands down thanks for that I feel so guilty for the image I had about her and the image underbelly put in my head, she is mentor material and such a strong person. Forget councillors and psychologists. She’s done beyond any measures for anyone to understand and healed herself Props to you

She is a joke she lived with a rat who thought he was a tough gangster she knew how he made money and she didn't mind at all so no sympathy. Sob stories are as cheap as chips.

yeah she certainly knew the score going in. Corrupt cops, yep it's always going to happen when disadvantaged people take the only road they have as an option to go down and we have to have police deal with it. Carl Williams was no great bloke. Just because you and your kids loved him, he was part of the misery drug addiction causes for many, many other families.

The whole life of crime is the gronkiest thing I've ever heard. I remember Spanian's video regarding Hood Life: The Truth about his own story and how he started and how by the end, he had no real friends, he was alone, no lisence, kid taken away, criminal friends talking smack and laughing at you and then hating you if you actually success at something, then sitting in a prison for years to reflect and then finally sacked the whole life of crime to become a better person.

some ppl got shit hand in life and they gotta do crime till they can make it better for everyone around them...other ppl especially ppl in rough hood street neighboorhoods, like we got alot of that in the inner cities here in US, wether its NYC, chicago, houston, LA, miami, it doesnt even have to be the big city hoods, all over there are young men catching felonies for dumb shit when they are in high school or even for legit crimes when they get little older, you have possession of illegal gun in america you catching a felony and alot of those dudes in the hood carry illegal guns when they in high school and until 21 cuz you can legally even "own" one until you hit 21... so they catch a felony for gun or having/sellling drugs, BandE or robbery cuz they mom or brothers or sisters need money or food... once you have a felony on your ecord here its like damn near impossible to get that shit off, the spend weeks sometimes months going back and forth you gotta be there in person half the time and they still may say, sorry but we feel like doing that is not the right choice right now... nobody cares it was for a right cause or whatever... now they see you as a numnber or a typical hood person. at that point, with a felony it makes it wayyyyy more problematic to get a job, they not supposed to do this but employers will ask if you ever been convicted of a felony or crime, your talking about flipping brugers at MCDs when all your homies are selling drugs up the block making 500 in a day its like why work at mcds wehn you got all this available to you

She blamed the police for causing her children's trauma not the fact that she was a drug dealer that brought the police into their lives.

shes lucky her mom didnt kill her, shes lucky some man didnt kill her on the streets, shit shes lucky she got off the streets after 2 years like yeah group homes are probably just as shitty in different ways but to just be kicked out as a girl at 9, theres like easy 20 paths she couldve gone down that wouldve either left her dead, scarred for life or just put in some horrible situations where she didnt even understand it until she was an adult...

I've always felt that Roberta was an amazing human being that got the shit end of the stick and fought back, this interview just goes to show how intelligent and strong she really is. To have lived the life she has and yet be so well spoken and articulate is testimony to her drive to have a proper life, well done, one of my all-time fav interviews, I just wish Carl was still here to tell his side of his story. Well done Spanian !
