I've been told the algorithm doesn't punish you for underperforming videos. However I have found this to definitely be the case. Every video that underperforms seems to negatively affect the next. Trying to push on but it's soul crushing when a video you worked hard on gets 120 views but a kid waffle stomping their turds down the shower goes viral.
