So cute I love stoats, he is certainly a cheeky chap and a few near misses catching prey and being the prey, he was pushing his luck with the buzzard.

Watching that little male stoat was so much fun. Do you suppose he just might have some extra energy stored up inside. Those little guys are fast. I'm glad the stoats are making it out of extinction. They are so interesting! A few years ago a video went around that showed a stoat on the back of a flying bird. People thought it was “cute”! I’m not sure how the encounter ended but I doubt that the bird thought it was cute!

Rob, I've been following stoats as well, but I've never seen one in real live, other than the two little furs that I have, and most videos and pictures don't show the real anatomy of their size, how big their mouths are, I first thought that their mouths were little slits in the front but after closer inspection of your videos which are the most detailed I get some anatomy of the little critters, their mouths sorta go behind their eye, their heads are sorta finger and 2/3rds fingerlenth width, measure from the tip of your middle finger to the middle of your forearm nose to tail. Thanks for posting, I'm trying real hard to learn about them and you're making it a little easier
