This is hauntingly beautiful. It forces you to think, and address matters (love, and loss of love...decisions, timing, events, life, ideals, and fantasies, be it with someone or how you see yourself, where you ‘wish’ you were). It forces you to be reflective, and then...after it’s all said and done....the journey isn’t over, yet.

Well said❗️ i couldn’t agree with you more. I’ve been listening to this trio from the day they started and I am so glad that folks have now discovered them and their amazing talent ❗️I’ve seen them live many times (please check out them playing their song “ Everything in its right place” at the Newport Jazz Festival, it’s outstanding. I wish someone would put up the video. Damion Reid has always been a beast on the drums and Vicente amazing on bass. Unfortunately it had to be through the Glasper R&B “Black Radio” albums, but it just shows how unbelievably talented this man is! He’s also incredibly down to earth and his father is hilarious. He does some stuff on instagram with his dad and it’s funny. Robert’s piano playing is on par with THE JAZZ LEGENDS THAT CAME BEFORE HIM...You can feel his music deep down in your soul. This trio takes you on a journey far far away from here....

@Robert Glasper, @Damion Reid, @Vicente Archer, SPEECHLESS.....This trio is incredible together...I’ve seen them live and their playing puts you in a trance and takes you to a place that you just don’t want to leave. It touches your mind, body and soul. This song helped me deal with the heartache and pain when my mother died 2 years ago. I’ve met Robert several times and he is a sweetheart! So down to earth and incredibly humble. Damion Reid has always been a “BEAST” on the drums and Vicente Archer a “BEAST on the bass. Robert’s piano playing is on a level with THE LEGENDARY PIANO PLAYING MASTERS THAT CAME BEFORE HIM. There is a live video of them playing “EVERYTHING IN IT’S RIGHT PLACE”at the Newport Jazz Festival a few years ago. It’s a fantastic piece that someone finally POSTED ON YOU TUBE😊 They are truly an incredibly talented and amazing group. I’m so glad that they are finally getting some SHINE❗️Robert’s also humble enough to let his other musicians BE 👍🏽 GREAT. I don’t know if I could have sat in that audience 3:29-6:57, and been so quiet 🤫 I WOULD HAVE DEFINITELY LOST MY ISH lol 😆 I’ve heard him play with other Cats, BUT THESE 3 TOGETHER ARE JUST MAGICAL. Damion and Vicente have been with him from the very beginning and so they just follow each other. Thank you Robert, Damion and Vicente for sharing your incredible gifts with us. Like one of the commenters below said: THIS IS A PIECE..YES, TRULY A MASTERPIECE. Thank you for uploading this and SHARING😊

Who could dislike this??????? I mean he is a sensational pianist!!!
He said something "disrespectful" about women in his interview given to Ethan Iverson. There was the whole storm of outrage. So, people, who remember that episode ))) I think, this is a very beautiful tune, though generally I am far from being his fan. Too much of "watery" stuff about nothing.

...I cannot get rid of this "Levels" - I can't get rid of Rob. Glasper trio as all the exquisite and so talented artists he works and does things with "Experiment" - but I have these specific Levels and its harmonies whispering in my head and mind while I'm commuting to work on buses and trains, going here and there, with my eyes on morning dawns landscapes or sunsets, on the way back to my new home in South of France... Then there's a sort of peace tinted of a soft melancholy naturally coming and floating all around, and I'm felling like if I had some soft, cool water flowing from my head to my toes... this flow bringing the fragrance odor of life, nothing more and nothing less, and the cool, the wise miracle of it...

Dude I don't know you and never even heard of you or your music but tonite walking in the pouring down rain, with a purpose, a purpose for just cause for humanity. Your music moved me, it built me up, it tore me down, it picked me up off of the cold ground, to lend a hand to help me up again and build it up again, I thank you man, for being a friend, that pushed me down and helped me up again so I can tear down all the things we built, that takes away our love and replaces it with sin. You moved my life with perfect music In the rain on a dark and cold night, showed me light from the moon to help me make it through the night, to make it to a brighter day, to pick it up and tear it down and take away the hurtful things that bring our world to turmoil everyday. I thank you friend for having Him inside your life and in your mind, you let Him flow through you this much is true, thanks again for belief in God and somehow sending me this song that picked me up, so I can pick up all the bad in this world.......and tear it down
