Thanks! Really helpful. Question: If I want to do the same thing but with a area plan of my entire real estate which includes a topography with height differences. Is that possible to do in Archicad as well?

Yes, you can do very large areas. Just make sure you don't add to many nodes to the mesh or it will make the model too complicated. You can adjust this is magic wand settings.

On trace reference settings, there's a drop down menu on the side of the glider of "Reference". The drop down menu is the "Visible Elements", check "Figure". :)
