Beautiful scenery! Love the country! You almost nailed they Crow haha. I hit a vulture last summer. Luckily I got slowed down enough it didn’t hurt my liner. The vulture wasn’t so lucky. Love you’re videos! Keep them coming. Been a long winter here in Oregon but good weather should be here soon. God bless!

Thanks William. Wow a vulture is a big bird to hit, you were very lucky. I hit a ring neck pheasant once. He flew up from an overgrown ditch just as I approached. Hit him full speed center of the headlight. I was very lucky, had he hit me higher or offside it could have been bad. It is a cold spring here but summer is coming ( at least according to the calendar).

My arthritis has taken away my ability to ride over 8 years ago so thanks for taking me along. I was always told to put a bar of soap in my shirt and pants pocket so in case you get caught in the rain you can wash yourself and your bike at the same time. It never really helped me but it might you. My two Goldwings did not like the gravel at all, or maybe it was just me, but when I see you riding on unpacked gravel it tightens my grip on the recliner, glad to see you handle it so well.

Hello Roy. Thank you for the great comment. Really sorry to hear about your arthritis, but I am glad you are able to join me on the rides with my videos! Big bikes on smooth tires definitely does not make a gravel friendly machine, I always take it slow and easy and pick my way. Take care, and keep the comments coming!

Love that road !!! Thanks for taking me back ….. That one crossing, the switchback under the bridge 07:20, I tend to get close calls more often than not. Haha.

Is there any bad roads around Lillooet? Now that you have that Pan America there are a few more you need to explore in that area. The west side of the Fraser from Lillooet to Boston Bar is pretty good. The Bridge River Road is excellent as is the road over to Shalath and then out to Pemberton. My favorite is the West Pavillion Road, starting in Lillooet up the west side of the Fraser to Big Bar Ferry and then across to Clinton. That railway underpass is definitely one to be approached with caution, it is a good thing that the highway is not very busy. Thanks for stopping by.

What an incredibly wet year this year has been, not much good weather, or time to do much riding. I am hoping both change very soon.

Thanks for is. I'm from Ontario. And 4 years ago I rode out west on a 3 week trip. The last leg of my trip was down 99 from Cache Creek to Vancouver. I swore I'd be back....but money has gotten in the way.

All sorts of things can get in the way of plans, this year is a great example of that. Glad you were able to find the video and enjoy it at least.

Robert you find the absolute best trails to ride. You know how long I’ve been waiting to see rain in your videos? LOL! You always get the best weather. U were certainly climbing nice elevation too, which must have brought on some rain. Looked like a cold rain...what was your temp?
@RobertMerz4 жыл бұрын
You mentioned wanting to see me ride in the rain a few videos back, and when I edited this one I was thinking "well,...here you go.....is this enough rain for you?" It was a storm partly generated by the heat, but it did cool off some when it hit, temp wise if I remember right it went from high 80's down to probably mid 60's

@@RobertMerz LOL!!! Well I wasn’t wishing bad weather on you, but I never forgot that epic video you did thru Independence Pass, CO, the music you attached to that rain storm and as crazy as it sounds, it’s one of my favorite videos all time. Man, I have had my fair share of blue bird riding days, that changed in the blink of an eye in the mountains, found myself enduring thru a monsoon rainstorm, and the temperatures dropped off the chart. Call me crazy, but at times I enjoy that big change of weather to endure, making for great story telling later...seems weather like that works up quite an appetite too!

Hola amigo. Cómo vas con los incendios cerca tuyo?
@RobertMerz3 жыл бұрын
Los incendios, hasta ahora, no han estado cerca de mí, aunque la devastación de la ciudad de Lytton me ha golpeado cerca de casa en mi corazón. Pasé muchos años trabajando allí y me gusta mucho la zona del cañón.

It is a great Highway to ride, and early spring is very tempting as it is so warm on both ends but a bit chilly in Marble Canyon still.
