@@Daanftw It was a wonderful decade and time to be young. But there was too much drug and alcohol abuse. Stay away from those whatever you do, or at least learn moderation. When you're young you can feel invulnerable, but many of us now in our forties and fifties have health problems related to drug and alcohol abuse that started in school and university. Health is wealth; never forget that.

My mom in her 70s got obscessed with music. 3 years or so of evrrything the cello player, country, queen, disturbed, johnny cash, miley cyrus blond remake etc. One morning is was shocked out of my sleep. She died that day. I went to go pack up my house she lived in. Answer message. I called, friend on answer was a psychic medium. Said she was loving the music.....and died at 4 am and passed through me to say good bye. Said the music was amazing there.

My mom passed away back in 2015, I remember she had a very diverse, extended taste in music. I forgot how much she loved this particular song until recently when it was randomly suggested by my youtube app. Its like how did it know she liked this song so much to suggest it to me? Crazy, I know. But I never really listened to this song until now. It hits me deep because my mom loved this song. I get it. I listen to it now knowing that some way through time space and exsistance we are both listening to this song. Knowing she probably did alot of deep thinking to this song, probably smoked and unwinded after a long day or event. This song was one of her get away songs I feel. I miss her. Alot. Thanks for the song.

For me, this song has both a sad and a happy side to it. Taking the song title into account, it reminds me a lot of how simple and fun the days where when I was young, yet it also makes me think how the naive, overly positive, outlook on life I had back then turned out to be wrong. Contrary to what one believes as a child, life isn't just always going to be great, it will go downhill many more times than one thinks. Still, both sides hold some truth; life isn't awesome all the time but it tends to present a lot of good opportunities to you nonetheless.

I heard this in 1996 and it was the only song I would repeat on my walkman. I would go out to the woods alone listening to this and I was in my own world of dreams. Listening to this now as an adult, and a very cynical goth, I am weeping. I am braught back to those moments, where my spirit took flight on winds of Heaven, and it still does when I hear this. What I really love about this song, aside from bringing me back to 1996 when I was 7, is that Robert Miles made it to address the many deaths occurring after raves in Italy. So he came up with a soothing tune to wrap up the night, and maybe partygoers would chill a bit before going home. Gratzie mille Roberto, you inadvertently created a new genre, a life-saving song and a tune that millions remember with affection and nostalgia

Самое начало нулевых, кручу папину аудиокассету с этой композицией на магнитофоне; необъяснимая грусть и одновременно завораживающее душу звучание. @@mrlightwritersame ballpark but definitely an early trance tune. He was moving away from house by this stage. This is called Dream House technically, and it's the raw stage of trance.
