Majestic performance; he put his teammates in front of goal twice and only they know how they missed, and he was involved in the goal which was ruled offside as well. As you said, had they been more clinical, Juve would've won a treble that season. He was highly underappreciated that season. He didn't play a lot due to injury, and although Del Piero did well in his place, Baggio was far more consistent when he played and turned up with decisive goals and assists.

In the first half in particular, Baggio showed one of the less spectacular ways (when compared with a dribble or free kick) in which he was so skilled and helpful to a team. He was a player who could reliably be available to play a one two or through ball at just the right place and of the right weight, and rarely failed to get it right.

Indeed, it was one of the more impressive traits of Baggio. For all his talent and technique he was never a showman and there was nothing superfluous about his gameplay. For a 'flair player' he was an extremely intellegent player and that showed in his sheer efficiency.
