Belton played so well (6-2 7-6 7-5). He made sure to win in straights unlike so many others who have found themselves pushed to 4 & 5 sets in R1. We've had EIGHT 5 set matches & FIVE 4hr+ matches already & Day 2 isn't over. Ridiculous. The hard courts are TOO darn slow especially for a Slam. Enough already. Make Courts Fast Again. Despite GI pressure from Agut in the 2nd set, Shelly went into lockdown mode running away with the tiebreak. Serving well & getting the crucial Kit Kat late the 3rd wrapped up proceedings.
@zweigackroyd7301
@zweigackroyd7301 4 ай бұрын
What does it mean the courts are too slow for a slam? Don't like Roland Garros? Newsflash: tennis is played on a variety of surfaces, and different skills and strategies are needed for each. This is probably a surprise to you, but it has been so for quite some time.
