Even if you feel a certain way or think the wrong things when problems arise, always talk to Him in gratitude about who He is. For example, "Thank you Father that You love me and that you care for me. Thank you that this issue is no match for you, You are greater. Teach my heart to always know this. Teach my heart to rely and be fully surrendered to this truth". Tell Him about the problem and thank Him for being MUCH greater than all your problems put together. Don't keep repeating the issue, keep repeating who He is throughout the day. When your thoughts go to the problem, talk about who He is throughout the day. Your goal is to learn to FOCUS on Him so that it becomes a habit. So, practice your focus in the midst of all problems - no matter how you feel, no matter what thoughts come to you. Go to the word to find verses that say who He is. Psalms is awesome for this. Keep listening to messages that teach you to depend on Him. Stop listening to worldly things and music so your mind can be trained in the things of God.
