Golf with Mehlhorn is our way to bring to the golfing world the wonderful legacy of Mr. Bill Mehlhorn and his unique perspective of using natural movement and the use of the subconscious mind to teach ourselves to hit a golf ball. His analytical capacity brings great insights in the play of the game not found anywhere. Bill had a photographic mind and memory beyond belief thus brings alive for all to enjoy the history of golf from the early 1900's almost to the end of the century.

I heard that Wild Bill sent the grass whip back to tru temper, because his students didn't need golf lessons after they used the grass whip, he said I'll go broke if I keep it lol.

A lot of people struggling along with the whole "body-oriented" thing would do well to understand what Shave is saying about the independence of the arms. "The legs don't pull [the arms]." It's part of golf talk and has been for at least 60 years or more that the "legs and hips pull the arms down," but in fact that is only the feeling, not the truth. They move, certainly; the body turns; if you look at it on video or in sequence photos, it looks like there's a "pull" going on, or a causal 1-2 connection; but it's not what most people think it is. People who talk about "totally passive arms" and "arms and hands not working at all" may be sincere, but the only way you can believe that is if you've trained the arms and hands to swing the club until it's all second nature, until you're not aware of them working at all. Same for "taking the hands out of the swing."

The body pulls the arms horizontally and the arms move vertically independent from the body.
