They are both great boats. My preference is the Mirage. They are usually always booked and hard to get on a trip with. And its for good reason. Pacific Islander is probably a little more comfortable in terms of size and space, but I don't go fishing for space and comfort.

Thats perfectly fine. Raptor isnt necessary. Just make sure your drag is set appropriately.
