Texas born and I lived in Keller, Ft.W.area. I just got into nickel hunting thanks to your find and fill. It's difficult but I'm hooked in it. 38-61. I'm almost half done 3 boxes in. I know the rare dates will vex me, but the quarters kill me and nickels are a nice break.

The beat up coins are from fountains or fish pools. The money gets collected after six months then put in a cement mixer with sand or pee gravel and soapy water. Then mixed for a half hour,dumped out and rinsed. It goes to the bank in whatever shape.
