I do plan on updating it from each nickel box I hunt from this point forward until the nickel coin collection is completed! Never a boring channel. I love finding buffaloes too. I grew up when they were abundant in your change. Looks like the damaged one someone tried to cut it. With power metal shears.

On that 1939-P (at 2:19 in the video) - those were some really thick letters on the reverse - and the base serifs on E Pluribus Unum were thick as well - it almost looks like the FS-802. And that 1952-S from box two (9:04) had a nice die crack on the top right side of the Monticello building. That was a sweet hunt with all of the San Fran-minted finds - especially that 1929-S - I still need that one for my album. Another great video!

Found 39-S and 38-S in my last 2 nickel boxes, but 50-D still continues to evade me after more than a year and a half of looking.

@@HouseOfHam The only dates I haven’t found in circulation are the 39D & 39S. I’ve found literally everything else. I even found a 50D years ago but that was the only one.

Rob, I have to share this with someone who can appreciate it. Nickel box picked up Friday was shocking with 20 buffalo Enders. Only six rolls didn’t have any. Fewest was two in a roll, most was 13. Total of 316 buffalo nickels. Only 90 had dates that I could determine under my scope. 13 we’re type ones with one having a clear Denver mintmark. Only 4 others from teens and only 7 from the 30’s. Time to invest in some nick a date.
