This is the soundtrack that got me collecting the music of John Barry... I then collected everything that Barry wrote..... This score is absolutely perfect for this film..... The love theme makes you want to cry and to cheer at the same time..... Another JB masterpiece......

Love this movie. I saw it back in seventies as a 14 year old. I can really appreciate it now im in my fifties. Growing older and accepting the pass of time. The soundtrack is just beautiful.

I saw it live in AnnArbor in 1976. It was very special to me, as it captured the feelings I had for a lost love, one who filled my every waking moment with magic and wonder. But like these two lovers, it was not meant to be-at least this time around. Maybe next time I can stay. Wait for me, my love!

& Connery is so funny, so obtuse. They had to hire Robert Shaw years after From Russia With Love because no one else could stand up to him, like the shark in Jaws.

This is first film score that John Barry went to United States. I was supprised that music style was changed so classical . The image of "Morning of Sherrwood" is caputred perfectly by his music. Love theme was sung by Audry Hepbern and was recorded in first bootleg album.

No cabe duda de que tanto Sean Connery como Audrey Hepburn eran dos magníficos actores, peto en mi opinión, esta película está sobrevalorada. No he entendido nunca mi bien como el Cine destruye los mitos que antes creará. Robin Hood no fue un personaje real, y su hubiera existido, no habría sido esa especie de "Che Guevara" con ropas medievales. Eran otros tiempos, y otra mentalidad,muy distinta a las del siglo veinte.

Rectifico: Según un documento judicial del siglo trece, hubo un tal Robyn Hood que se convirtió en un delincuente tras serle confiscados sus bienes. Toda esa historia de que robaba a los ricos para dársela a los pobres es ficticia. La memoria histórica de los pueblos pude deformarse de tal modo, que al final se transforma en leyenda.
