As part of our 2023 summer exhibition People Powered: Stories from the River Tees, we invited A Man Called Adam to create a soundscape piece installed in Gallery 1. The soundscape accompanied large scale photographic works River Portraits, which documented historic figures and everyday people who live and love beside the River Tees. A Man Called Adam have also recorded a short podcast, documenting their process and inspirations behind the work.
