The TITANIC REQUIEM is a beautiful piece of work between father and son. "DON'T CRY ALONE" brings out the waterworks in full force, like clockwork - every single time I listen to it. Robin's sincere, distinctive voice is simply beautiful...💖 "...There are only eight notes that you can work with. The difference is getting them in the right order..." - Robin Hugh Gibb CBE (1949 - 2012)

What an absolutely marvelous performance! I'd actually been kind of afraid to listen to it before...I mean, emotionally. Cliff Richard has sung this in concert. He said when he first heard it, he cried, and yet was comforted. He felt like God was speaking to him through it. Robin couldn't ask for more than that.

This song is so wonderful. Robin - THE VOICE. Every time I hear it, it makes me emotional. to know that it was one of his last songs that was also played at his funeral. For anyone who likes listening to classical music, I recommend the entire Titanic Requiem. A great collaboration between Robin and his younger son Robin-John

He was VERY weak here but said this project kept him alive to finish it. His Titanic Requiem orchestral piece was played publicly by the philharmonic in April only a month before he passed. He wanted to attend but was too sick in hospital. In spite of his infirmity, his voice never failed him. Although this was written as a man about to die on Titanic saying goodbye to his wife in a lifeboat, it could apply just as easily to him and his family. He knew the end was near. A beautiful requiem for himself as well.

Mozart wrote a requiem from his death bed and even commented that he might be writing his own requiem. This was the Titanic Requiem and Robin’s as well. There are many of us who still miss him, but his musical legacy endures.

"There's only eight notes you can work with. Difference is, getting them in the right order." OMG I can barely listen. Thankfully, with RJ and his family, he filled the last months of his life with purpose. It's quite moving. I sang the Mozart Requiem with my university chorus. That particular type of music is wonderfully profound, and stays with you. Robin, his strength through adversity, and his beautiful talent will also stay with us.

He planned to sing this live at the Titanic Requiem premier, but was in hospital in a coma, near death. He worked every minute he could, and gave such a gift to RJ and the world. The song that is the real tear jerker for me is his last song recorded on his iPad called SYDNEY (Australia), and posthumously released by Dwina and RJ. Also, ELAN VANNIN, when he sings, “I’m going back once more.”

Excellent reaction, Chad! We need the down times to appreciate the good. Robin’s voice has always expressed angelic emotion, sadness and at times even great grief. Even his mother said that listening to him sing at times brought her to tears. His ability to touch your soul added so much to the threesome known as The Bee Gees! Alone, he was a unique talent that will remain one of the most inspiring music creators of all times. Thank you for sharing this haunting melody, Chad.

Such a beautiful song and sung beautifully by Robin. Listening to it does make me sad, but not in a bad way If that makes any sense! Kind of a cathartic sadness. Looking at appearances and interviews from the last two years of Robin's life its hard to watch him waste away before our eyes. His determination and will to live were so strong. I am a huge Titanic buff having had friends who were survivors, Elizabeth and Violet Mellenger a mother and daughter, when I was a kid. Since then I read all that I could find! They were in lifeboat 14 that went back for survivors in the water including 2nd Officer Lightholler. Elizabeth gave him her cloak for warmth and he gave her his officer's whistle (which I actually got to blow once...talk about a history nerd!). Both the cloak and whistle are now in the Maritime Museum, Greenwich. Lightholler went on to help evacuate soldiers from Dunkirk and spied on NAZI naval bases in his private boat. In October I left some photos with their story in a letter in the Prebendal mailbox for RJ. Also left some of my dad's WW2 airplane photos with a note thanking his dad through him for the Bomber Command Memorial he fought to have built in London. My dad was one of those airmen. His deeds made me gravitate toward Robin even more. He was a caring person. Thanks for allowing me to blither.

Heartbreaking to have seen Robin in such precarious physical conditions, we who have been used to seeing him smiling and colorful for years, with hair today in one color and tomorrow in another, sexy tracksuits and ripped jeans. A unique artist who ranged from disco to classical music. It's not for everyone, only the most sensitive and gifted can get there.
