This guy takes me back to the summer of 1967 when I heard him singing Massachusetts on our black and white TV. I was 12 and fell in love with the song and pursued The Bee Gees from then on, but my first purchase was World, on a bitterly cold day in December 1967... Robin and Maurice would have turned 18 on the 22nd. The early Bee Gees songs are truly awesome.

@@ellenfarrell2785 He never admitted publicly that he had cancer until November of 2011. This video was filmed sometime during 2008. From this time on, it’s obvious that something is wrong. He has lost a lot of weight here, and that’s obvious by looking at his face. In 2010 he had surgery for the same intestinal blockage that his twin Maurice died from. Robin had a very strong will to live despite losing MO, and it seems he was in denial about his failing health. So yes, Robin was already showing signs of illness in this video.

I love how he nodded to the little blonde haired girl towards the end, when he was standing next to the choir director. Her whole face lights up. Took me a few times to catch why she smiled like that.

Robin had an angelic voice that nobody before or since his passing could imitate! Sadly he's gone to a higher place too soon. We needed him here for many more years. He died far too soon may he RIP

This national anthem of the Isle of Man is so wonderful. It describes how beautiful the country is. It was so touching that the Bee Gees had sang their national anthem in one of their performances. There was one show where somebody from the audience asked where they were born, after Barry answered in the Isle of Man, they sang this and Robin was the one who did the vocals juat like this..
