Me too. I have no idea what must have appealed to me at that age about this Show. Yet, I remember watching it in 1992. Now I see it and think, maybe it was meant for the parents and the kids were supposed to think they liked it.

That is absoutely not true. George Liquor had nothing to do with John K being let go. It was becuase John K was extremly uncooperative on a nearly weekly basis, and his bizarre antics, constant arguments with the network and over-protectionism caused him to miss many deadlines and deliver episodes late multiple times, causing sponsors to leave the show. John finally released an ultimatum to the network that said "The episodes will cost whatever they cost and come out whenever they're done". This was the last straw, and saw him as unfit to lead production since he was costing them money by not delivering episodes on time and being constantly impossible to work with, as well as having an overall bullying attitude towards the network and his own staff.

Ren & Stimpy aired more than 30 years ago. So all the kids and teens and collegers back then would be much older. Putting Rugrats on Comedy Central wouldn't work, but Ren & Stimpy is wild enough, and nostalgic enough for those older generations.
