While I won't argue that it's a bad song, it is problematic in one spot. In particular, if you know scripture, you know that King David was forbidden by God to build a temple due to his sin, and I don't mean his general sinful nature (see Psalm 51 verses 1~9). Rather, one very particular sin, which was the cause of David writing Psalm 51. In fact, the phrase "temple of praise" doesn't even occur in scripture. So, while I do think this is a good song, it is theologically problematic in one very critical aspect. Too bad. So close, yet so far.
