A wistful, introspective song, Robin. We change as we age, but our songs remain as they were -- unless we do a re-write somewhere down the line! And yet, our songs seem to take on a life of their own! Speaking for myself, some of my own old songs seem to speak to me in a different voice than the one I gave them! The power of words... they can say things, sometimes, that are written between the lines! A thought-provoking and interesting song you have here, my friend! 🙂👍

Thank you so much, Robert. I rewrite many of mine before I'm close to being satisfied (never am) and, as I've hopefully become a better writer than I was back then, I quite often revisit earlier words I've written. Words that are personal and mean a lot to me, I tend to keep as they've always been. You're so right, songs do take on a life of their own and somehow become different to how I thought they were. I'm very pleased yo like this one, my friend. Cheers.
