You think this is the first song to ever to have lyrics that people didn't understand. At first I agreed, then I actually read the lyrics. He's with a girl who's last boyfriend tried to make her a housewife, tried to control her, but she was an animal, and has either left him, or in the process of leaving. Let me liberate you. Liberate means to clearly get someone of out a very bad situation. Now they're at a party and she's grabbing him all over. But you're a good girl , The way you grab me, Must wanna get nasty, Go ahead, get at me. This is not a song about a girl who doesn't want his attention. Nor does it say he was putting his hands all over her, touching her when she didn't want it. He just talking to her, telling her he wants her and he hopes he wants her too. She wants it, but the blurred lines are the ex boyfriend pulling at her and at the end of the song they get past it and it's there new beginning. You want a song that was clearly about Rape, the band said so, and nobody ever picked it up. It was a huge hit. Stone Temple Pilots - Sex type thing. It was one of the band most recognized songs. I think the "I know you want it," line is what bothered the MeToo people cause they're not taking in the context of the song where it's a girl grabbing a guy up at a party. I'm pretty sure it's okay to say to your date, "I know you want it," when their hands are all over begging for it. If that's wrong, I pray for flirting and the human race.

Why is it that half of my childhood turns out to have some sort of dark past or 'terrible secret'? Half the shows/things I used to watch were apparently either run by nonce's/creeps (take SevenSuperGirls, or Mermaid Miracles as an example), or were stopped due to some cast member being found guilty of a crime or something. And half the songs I listened to were written/made to be 'secretly' sexual (like this, or like Barbie Girl- it's apparently meant to be about hookers. There's literally a line where Barbie's saying "I can beg on my knees") Why can't I have a fucking childhood anymore? Is it _really_ that much to ask, huh?
