It is SO SAD that the people that have this beautiful gift to bring people joy and laughter, are most commonly the people who are depressed and lonely on the inside. It's a huge loss for the acting industry. Farewell Sir Robin Williams.

KevCore your correct of course, It's also sad some people ---still think---popularity, money, fame power -- will make them happy. Look at the lives of the people who had ALL that. When will we learn that happiness is not bought,or obtained by superficial things.

+KevCore I imagine that fame and wealth is somewhat a curse on a talented artist, you have the world by the tail and yet it still comes down to some sort of white powder or some form of drug that you stand alone against like any other person would, some people win some people loose. The good part is, that Robin Williams until the day he passed away, had probably experienced more of life then you, me and 500 more regular people will experience even if we live to be a 100 lol. Luca K just because something is a joke doesn't mean its not offensive? I could make a joke about Robin Williams dying...I'm not going to because its offensive and everyone would find it offensive. I worked with a guy (Coincidentally named Robin) who had severe Parkinson's even in his 20s and 30s, let alone through his 60s. He spent a third of his waking hours not being able to move, another third not being able to stop moving, and the other third trying to rest, get something done, and preparing for the other two thirds of his waking life. My Robin would have laughed at Robin Williams' humor about Parkinson's patients. Robin Williams wasn't making jokes about Parkinson's patients. He was being humorous about Parkinson's. And if you've ever known anyone who's had Parkinson's you'd know that no one needs a sense of humor about Parkinson's more than Parkinson's patients do. That's one reason Robin Williams is no longer with us. Because when he himself needed to have a sense of humor about Parkinson's, he could not summon it.

He was started to feel the symptoms, mentally but felt like he was going crazy w/ Anxiety, memory loss, & extreme hallucinations, then add the Parkinson's on TOP of ALL of that! That's A LOT to try handle all at one time! Wouldn't you think so??? 😢❤

I'm not arguing with that. I'm saying that there was a little more to his suicide than being unable to summon up a sense of humour.
