I personally thought S5 was the best, but yeah, those seasons were great too! Too bad S3 and S4 became too much CW. ...They screwed up with having an amazing series, even though it is, but the bad seasons ruined a lot. And in my opinion, Oliver died in a bad way. It didn’t match how I’d like him to die (personally, I would love for him to have a season with redemption and it’s like how the movie ‘Logan’ was, but of course they couldn’t do that). Oh, and yeah, Felicity should’ve just been in the back. (I would rather have wanted Kara and Oliver to be endgame because I actually would like them together) Anyways, nobody cares about this comment, which had too many paragraphs. Sry. Goodbye, now.

Mr. Experimentricks - I know that’s bad, but I got used to it after season 4 (;-;) - The reason why S5 is the best season for me is because their best episodes (15,16,17,18,23) were better than S1 and S2’s best episodes, in my opinion. But I get where you’re coming from. Also, the whole training thing was like what you would give an immature 13 year old. “This is about working together!” Like, we all knew that, right? Personally, for me, Diggle should have been the leader of the team, and Oliver could have been the star of the team. Oliver has no leading experience with recruits, but Diggle has. I think it would have been a lot more interesting that way. Oh, and I thought Prometheus was the best thing about the season. Nonetheless, I understand where you’re coming from. But hey, who am I to blame if you like S1 or S2 more? Those are good seasons.

Mr. Experimentricks - The crossovers, I though were pretty nice, until Infinite Earths. I’ve been following the series for almost 7 years, and I still can’t believe Infinite Earths was so bad. It reminded me of Power Rangers, which isn’t a good thing. So... Season 8 of Arrow and Season 6 of The Flash were a bummer because it was leading to Infinite Earths. I still think Oliver should have died like Logan did, and had that whole journey. The season is about redemption, regret and death. As in the end, Oliver saves his city. And finally dies, no longer feeling this pain and suffering. And he’s reunited... with his loved one’s. For a character, never do this: S1 - Fails to save the city. S2 - Saves the city and rises. Infinite Earths - Saves the universe. ...Seems a bit far fetched. They should have given him a death that felt realistic, and a redemption for Oliver Queen. (And maybe they should have played ‘Hurt’)

Him being a killer, and one that fought more than just those who would be stereotypical villains was what initially made him interesting along with the mystery and the slowly details that connected the main villain of the season's plot. He wasn't like other heroes, he was a anti-hero of sorts. When they made him PG it ruined the character. But hey, hurting imaginary rich people is a scary idea for PR teams, could make the stupid workers angry right? give them the wrong idea? Yeah wouldn't want the rich getting feeling threatened, no, no, no. How sad.

Oliver was the perfect serial killer in season 1. Absolutely psychopath, his character progression was amazing. Just how he became the hero he is and got through all of his loss.

The part of the first season I like the most is not Malcolm Merlyn or the part he plays in the series being an AWESOME VILLAIN but the part where you can see how damaged Oliver is. The part where he tackles his mother out of instinct is not only amazing acting by Stephen but excellent writing it gives good depth to the character and his history. Honestly, season 1 is and will stay my favorite Arrow season although I really liked Prometheus and Deathstroke.
