Oh, I think your little booklet fashioned after the one in Somerset Studio was turning out to be very, very cute!! Hope you continue with it. Going to have to try one of Gail's envelopes. They look like they'd be fun to make.

Thanks Donna I will finish it but I felt stifled so wanted to move on. Sometimes working on other things sparks an "ah ha" moment to finish the first project.

I love your tin of vintage buttons! I just wanted to jump in there and roll around in them! Oh the strange things that go through the minds of a paper crafter ! LOL I love the ideas you are sharing about using up our scraps. Would love to see the journal box tutorial idea :)

Another great tutorial!! Thanks! I first watched the videos in this series out of order, and am now re-watching from the beginning, which, of course, makes great sense, no? I didn't quite get what you were aiming for, but it's clear now, and I am going to try this soon. The completed example is absolutely yummy! I thought I'd share with you, in case you have the same problem, a way to cut folded paper so that part of the fold doesn't interfere with the cut piece (ie, that you don't have a bent edge): I cut a very very thin piece off the fold itself so that the remaining two pieces are perfectly straight on the ends. --Dolores

The glue in a cup thing.... If you put a damp paper towel in the bottom you won’t get dried glue on the tip of your bottle. 😎

I have the same issue at times watching someone make something beautiful. I think to myself I can do that. But when I attempt to try and copy its just not happening. It nowhere near looks the same and I just have to put it aside. I have lots of pieces that then just sit there, not finished

Thank you for sharing this project! Love your work. I also am intrigued with the little booklet. Wondering how you “bind” it. Hoping you show that part. Also, I’ve searched some through your videos looking for one on how you make your lace snippets (like the one on the spine of your recent Graphics Fairy DT project.). Is there one?
@robindudleyhowes5 жыл бұрын
Diane Matula thank you for your kind comments. I would be happy to show the binding. I don’t have a youtube video on snippets but I do have lessons on snippets in my French Bohemian travelers junk journal online class.😊.
