Yeah you rock, great lesson and no nonsense video, none of this talking for 3 minutes at the start, accurate cover and a bonus visual tab overlay.

Dude: this is by far the most helpful guitar video on youtube. I have never seen anyone do it like this before. I would pay for more

I've been working on this for about 3 months now. I can play it, but there's no way I can sing it simultaneously yet. I wanted to come back and give you my sincere thanks for taking the time to record and post this. I really appreciate it. This song rings out in the dark quiet nights in my apartment building, drifting out into the evening air. It's interesting to think about the history of this tune, how you can to play it, and now I can play it in my town too. Thanks again!

Can you sing it yet? 😆 I still can't...

Imagine if all instructional videos for guitar on youtube were this good. Great song and an excellent demonstration.

I mostly do just fine learning learning new tunes from tab alone, but once in a while I like having certain passages spoon fed to me. I consider this the best visual spoon feed I've seen so far.

Fabulous lesson. You have captured all the strangeness and texture of the original - must have been an ordeal to tab! Will do my best to get stuck into this. Many thanks for your generosity!

I'm not a serious guitar player but this performance is the most accurate I've ever listened, it's really faithful to the original.

Thank you for taking the time to learn this song!!! I was introduced to this song from the film Ghost World. (Pretty great film I'd recommend it) I've never heard something quite like it before, the tuning adds such a different feel and its truly amazing. RIP Skip James!

This is so well done! Thanks for everything here. You helped me learn to play this with Skip James’ authentic chords and picking.

Very impressed. I think ALL songs to learn should have the tabs on screen with the moving indicator!! Well, done. One of the best vids on this song and to learn for sure. You earned a sub, excited to look around your page. Skip is the man!

Great video presentation, showing where and when th relevant notes are. Never seen it displayed in such a clear and readable way as this before. I've been playing this song a bit different to you (see my most recent youtube posting, if you have time). Think I can see a number of areas where what you are playing sounds much closer to the original than what I have managed. Thanks for this !!

hoegaardenzo ......probably help if he came over to your house, and moved your fingers to appropriate position, strummed for you, etc. you have to do some of the work...[btw there is a tab.....printed right on the screen during video, just 'pause' ]

Bash Nova yep, just as you are....and he was. It's a VERY well put together lesson, and for serious players, it's all you need. Perhaps you should be practicing instead of handing out free negative opinions. I was being a bit dickish...yes, because there's always someone who doesn't like it...for some reason.
