So I’ve never had any issues until now. I deposited 4 deposits within a week. Under $500 and now my instant deposits are off. This makes no sense. Robinhood is a joke

I feel as if I’m still not understanding or the information I was looking for wasn’t presented in the video. I recently transferred money from my bank to Robinhood. Depending on what you're using the funds for, currently with what's going on in the market there are limitations on the instant deposit at this time. Usually, you can instant deposit up to $1k on the basic account. This allows you to use the money right away instead of waiting days for it to officially transfer in.

I think the instant deposit amount is based on your account value. I believe it is set at $500 initially and once your account value exceeds $500 it moves to $1000 and then increments at 5k.

If I have 10k instant deposit limit, start of transfer of 10k when my bank is 0, then buy bitcoin and sell that same day with propfits. Can I then cancel the deposit and give them back the 10k?

I like this video, but what bothers me is that I have yet to be able to withdraw some of the money I am not using at this moment and that money has been pulled from the bank days ago. What do I do then?

It takes 3-5 business days to pull officially from your bank (each bank is different with timing). Once the funds are officially settled you'll be able to withdraw the remaining funds. Keep in mind with the holidays that it will take longer as banks are closed.

i invested 350 yesterday, and from profit i took out what i put in the same day. and the 350 is in my buying power. so when the bank transfers go through, this will be available in my withdrawal?

Correct. It will just take a few days before you can withdraw because it's waiting for that official transfer in to be completed.

U can cancel your order from your bank actually just got to your messages and you can cancel transfer and it go back to your bank account

If you went through from the stock page it should have bought it while also doing the deposit.

Not per day, it's up to $1k max until it clears and then you have access to instant deposit again. Usually takes a few days to clear. You can make more than a $1k deposit but that will have the normal wait time as if you're sending from one bank to another. If you have/get Robinhood Gold which is $5 a month you jump up to $5k in instant deposit. Hope that helps.

All you have to do is just enable it in your settings on Robinhood and you should have right away when you deposit your money in there.

You'll either go negative in your main bank (most likely causing a fee) or Robinhood will cancel the order. Hopefully the ladder happens.

@@TruFinancials so there would be a charge on the bank account which your bank account will be negative because you dont have enough for the deposit that you did. Do you still get to use the money that was already instant deposit in the beginning that Robinhood gave? and also what if you made back the money in between the transfer time would robinhood help you keep that profit?

I'd talk to your bank about it. Robinhood reminds you to leave that money in the account as it takes time to pull. Once it clears fully, you can send it back to your regular bank and chalk this up as a lesson.

They limit regular accounts to $1k and gold accounts to $5k. No real way to exploit it as the money will get pulled from your bank.
