I've decorated before Thanksgiving a few times, but I honestly feel that we get more enjoyment out of each season when I wait until after Thanksgiving. When I undecorate, I pile it all up on my dining room table. Thanks for sharing your day sweet friend.

Hi Robin! When my daughter was young my mom (since my dad passed) would come spend Thanksgiving weekend with us as the men went to the deer camp. We would decorate and shop all weekend. When she passed I just wanted to change things up. So now I just decorate whenever the mood hits me. I decorated early this year as we’re suppose to bring out new pup home the week before Christmas. 🌲 Years ago my parents reupholstered their couch and chair and they got so many more years out of that set! My husband has a beautiful shop so I have shelves and a cabinet in our main garage for all of my decor.

This video couldn't have come at a better time. I went to bed last night thinking I need to get my home cleaned and the fall decor downl My home is in a state of confussion. You gave me the motivation I needed. Yesterday when I was off with my daughter and granddaughter for a girls day at the local art fair my hubby got our tree set up. That just motivated me more. Hi Robin, I just wanted to thank you for your channel. I love watching your channel and I wanted to start a y tube channel but then I decided nit to because I have alot of stomach issues and I didn't want disappoint anyone who would watch my channel like not being able to post a new video for a few weeks. I love to decorate for all seasons. And I wait till after Thanksgiving to take my Thanksgiving decor down . But I'm going to start down sizing my decor cause going to be moving into a smaller house and for a few months will be living here in the US for maybe 3 months then back to the Azores for the 9 months. After my husband retires. It will be hard for me because of my beautiful grandkids and my kids and my sisters and friends but I know that I can come to visit then anytime of the year or do FaceTime which isn't the same as face to face in person. Watching this now and pausing the video to comment. I have never thought of Christmas decorating this early but always have Christmas planning and shopping almost finished at this time of the year. I think that the unseasonal weather and temps-last week it was almost 78 degrees here in VT-have made me feel the desire for the season so you have inspired me to put away pumpkins tomorrow. Now-in 840 square feet with no basement or garage-how do I do it? If something new comes in, something needs leave-the Mission with my donations in the next town must love me. I keep only what I love in decor and fashion. I have a cubby above my washer dryer which stores seasonal florals and larger decor, an Amish pantry cabinet has candles and smaller decor and seasonal decor in stored in 3 plastic totes under my bed. That's how I do it. Sorry for such a long post...hugs....

Robin, i'm happy to hear you had such a great response to your informative video on your journey to youtube; i have not even thought to actually research it as right now i'm enjoying everyone's content; i would like to know how you earn money, i don't need to know how much you make, just how?..and how does anyone pay for all the decor used?...i know you said you have some bins for your decor; really where does everyone store their things?..when you have time to post that info i'll be sure to watch..in the mean time, take a break because you sure worked hard.....take care..thanks for your videos...

I store most of my Christmas in the garage, but we do have an apt on our property that gets some decor and my trees are set up year round. Actually the apt is decorated for Christmas year round since no one goes in there, but me. 😅
