Thank you again for inviting us into your lovely home! Since I recently ( in the past two years ) gutted my kitchen & completely renovated it, I have one important recommendation concerning cabinet pulls. If you decide to paint and put pulls on your cabinets.....something we learned from a company in Atlanta that ONLY sells cabinet pulls (if you could only see this place) the sales person was very knowledgeable & actually steered us away from a more expensive option. She asked us to consider choosing cabinet pulls that wouldn't catch your clothes as you walk past them. She recommended an "all in one" piece......imagine the letter D and not a cabinet pull with extentions past the top and bottom. If only I could post a picture here to help describe it. We were SO happy that she suggested this because If my clothes caught the pull every time I walked by, I wouldn't be happy. I personally think your kitchen looks lovely the way it is & wonder what makes you think you need to paint the cabinets. If you do that....then, you would probably need to replace the counters and so on and so on. When we gutted everything, Our kitchen table didn't match, so, we had to purchase a new table, then, we noticed the formal dining room ( that could be seen from the newly renovated kitchen ) needed a new lighting fixture......it's a SNOWBALL! What ever you two decide, I'm certain it will be lovely. Just consider how one change in your home impacts other parts as well. I didn't consider it ....and so the SNOWBALL of events happened.....Lol..... Congrats on achieving 13,000.....now....On to 14,000! 🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄

Hi Robin! I get why you're taking your time about painting the cabinets - your cabinets are beautiful and painting them means maintenance forever! Before making such a big change it might be better keeping to the small ones like buy new hardware like you said or changing the backsplash. My parent changed theirs some years ago and it looked like a new kitchen. Congratulations on passing 13K!🥳You are so deserving! I think today I may tackle my coffee bar. My family and I are heading to Prague at the end of the week and I think it would be nice to get that done before we go. I'm enjoying all the Fall inspiration!❤

We painted our kitchen cabinets and we absolutely love it!! It is quite the undertaking but so so worth it. I painted my cabinets with Sherwin Williams urethane enamel paint. It is an absolutely amazing paint for kitchen cabinets. I did the color alabaster. It was so worth all the blood, sweat, and tears.... Lol! I love your videos!!!❤

I’m debating to paint my cabinets as well although I’d go with white. Trying to continue the more light beach feel, not shells and anchors but light and airy. Congratulations Robin. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had our kitchen cabinets replaces in 2020, we had the same colour cabinets as you and I LOVE my new white ones. You will be happy with the new change if you and your husband decide to go for it ☺️ Also, our laundry room is in the basement so I’ve always folded our laundry in the living room, my mom used to do the same thing when I was growing up. ☺️ Summer is coming to an end here in 🇨🇦, I hope the temperatures there cool off soon for you. ♥️

@@RobinLaneLowe Hi Robin, we actually had the doors replaced by Home Depot. My husband didn’t want to do the work, and we were unsure of the correct process to make sure they wouldn’t chip. I’m not sure if your familiar with Hillary from Old World Home on KZbin? She recently updated her painted cabinets to a pretty cream, just as you mentioned. Maybe check out her videos. Good Luck ☺️
