That thunderstruck clip was insane. There is nothing in the world like a human that is absolutely extraordinary and at the top of his game. You are one of them. There are few of us that put in the effort and work to achieve such levels. What you do should make us all realize that we are each capable of so much more. Unreal stuff my man. I just hope everyone realizes that this is hard work and dedication in action. This isn’t a lottery ticket, this isn’t something called privilege. This is what YOU can do if you put everything you have into something. And it’s downright amazing and beautiful.

Hey man, I just found your channel and I think what you're doing is amazing. I saw your Ted Talk; when you mentioned how the formal orchestra community turned their back on you I thought, "man, they just don't get it." The way you put a smile on these stranger's faces shows you're doing good work, while also showing people how AWESOME the violin is as a stand-alone instrument. Iv recently watched a few of his Videos i would say not more than 10 mostly the once from Omegle and there have been a few times where he says he doesnt know the song but he will listen to it and than plays it. (I mean even in this Video there have been 3 or 4x where he says that)

If her taste was amazing she would have told him "Nice job but it needs work" since that wasn't even close to a good cover of Lithium. Understanding he's never heard it before but I expect more from him given his past work. It wasn't a convincing version at all.

Rob I'm from India. I used to play violin when I was a kid. After some random KZbin suggestion I began to watch your videos. Really really liked them 'coz you are such a talented violinist. There is a beautiful violin song for an old Indian movie, which is "Ek pyaar ka Nagma hai". If you could please listen to it and play it sometime and make a KZbin blog, I will be very happy :)) And also translate the lyrics of that song in English. Those lyrics are amazing. Thanks Rob!! 👍❤️

I took violin when I was young, but I guess my teacher was stressing me out with the way she taught (can't remember too well), so we left and found another guy, but he was teaching way too fast, so we left again, and I just never found anyone else. Maybe someday, I can get back into it, after my child is grown? IDK, I have a hard time sticking with musical things. Anyway, great video! Merry Christmas! :)

I know well the last song; Lithium by Nirvana, If I listen to it just from Rob's version I cannot understand which song it is so Rob also using his improvisation skill a lot in this part.
