Explanation: - (Summary is in the end) "SOME" of the cases, the problem is not that you get caught cheating/hacking/exploiting, but because your wifi provider doesn't support. I have had this since 26 March (it's been almost 2 MONTHS) and is still happening to me for no reason at all. I never used any some kind of hacks, nor even downloaded it. My Wi-Fi provider has been normal in my entire life but this error just suddenly came out of nowhere. I've also learnt that you can only play in specific time (without getting kicked at all), like the best one is in midnight time from 10.30PM-11PM (Probably still getting kicked), 12AM-6AM (Without getting kicked at all), to 7AM/8AM (Low chance to get kicked) - (for this, idk for sure because SOMETIMES above at 9AM, i still be able to play but sometimes no. It's is really random. Also, remind you that you can play probably once or twice in the afternoon and evening, with the waiting of 2-5 hours. So once again, it is REALLY RANDOM). - Yeah, it ONLY WORKS around midnight, and i know that's hellish just to play Roblox, but remember not to stay up late just to play this outdated greedy corporation game. It is not worth it. This error is really annoying indeed, you would only be joining a game 5 times a day when you could join a game more than 10+ times. Not to mention that you gotta do some event stuff, or you gotta play with your friend. You can try switching to data or different wifi network, It will work and you can play roblox anytime without getting the stupid error 268 code. But take a note that switching to data is NOT RECOMMENDED as It's gonna waste a lot. Best is to connect with different Wi-Fi network. If you ask me how long for this error 268 is going to last, It's probably 1 year or longer... or maybe earlier. Yes you heard it right, because i see people there with this bug ARE STILL EXPERIENCING even after 2 YEARS long. The best way to play roblox without having to wait, and dont want to keep waiting till midnight, is to spam the play button till it lets you join because i do that and MOST of the times it works for me. Just a reminder: if you are new to this bug, the spam method PROBABLY will not work because when i was new to this bug, i did that but nothing happened. As the time passes longer, i do the spam method and it works for me most of the time. If the spam method doesn't work, try closing the roblox app and try again, it works for me (The spam i meant is like, when you click play, you will face the error sign, then you click leave, then click play, then leave, click play again and then leave and so on, repeat it until it lets you join, i do this on mobile and pc shall work too). (FOR MOBILE) This one is kind of 50/50 chance. I tried downloading the vpn and when it got connected, It's always failing to connect the game for me. But for others, it worked. So you should give it a try. For PC users having the exact problem, i think you MIGHT still fix it. But for mobile, i have no clue AT ALL. I've tried everything i could like clearing the cache and even data, reinstalling many many times, restarting the phone, waiting for hours and hours, but it just wouldn't go away. The TUTORIALS you see there on KZbin, TikTok, or others don't even work. This bug is unfixable. The one who tells you to wait for 30 mins, or 1 hour, or log out then log in back, clear cache, re-install the app, restart your phone, contact roblox support or bla bla bla are BULLSHITS! That ain't even gonna work because i DID them ALL but still, can't be fixed. Contacting Roblox Support is also useless. Why? Because they would just straight up saying "We are aware of this issue and currently working to ensure It's resolved. We appreciate your patience." yeah flip that sheet bro, THIS ERROR HAS BEEN NEARLY 3 YEARS AGO AND THEY STILL HAVEN'T FIXED IT, THEY DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT THIS BUG. So I would say, the ways you can prevent this bug are to wait until midnight, spam, or change network. Other than that, won't work. Tips from me: do not open roblox often, try rarely to open roblox and you might play only once a day or maybe twice but thats what i did for the first time ever experiencing the bug. I rarely open roblox and as soon as i play it works and no error. But you no need to worry about having to wait for too long and thinking you can't play all day like you used to anymore, because the time when you have been too long with this bug, you can just spam and no need to wait at all. For me, as for now, the bug is getting less annoying. First time experiencing this, it did not let me join even if i waited for hours. But time's passed, been 2 months with this bug, i dont need to wait, i just spam a little bit and it already let me join, also SOMETIMES i can join the game without getting any kicked. So I'd say it again - Best way to prevent this: - Wait until midnight (for not getting kicked at all) - Wait for 2-5+ hours - Spam the play button - Open Roblox rarely - Change with another Wi-Fi provider - Switch to data (Not recommended) • Why did i say using data isn't recommended? Because It's going to waste a lot. I want you guys to keep and save your money for good, not buying more data just to play this game. Other than that, no problem. • How does the spam even work? Okay, i know it sounds stupid and makes no sense, but if you think about it, when you spam the play button, It's like you are forcing the system to let you in, and MOST OF THE TIME, it works for me. Usually, it only takes me around 2-4 taps. But sometimes, it takes me around 6-10+ taps. If It doesn't work, I usually just close the app first, then open it again, and then continue spamming. But, if It doesn't work either, I just don't open the app anymore, or maybe let it cool down for a bit, wait for 5-15 mins, then do it again. We can't solve, we can only prevent it. NOTE that all i have said are based from my own experience. People may have their personal way to fix this issue to be able to join, BUT i really hope that this can help you out. We can do nothing but to protest to ROBLOX TO FIX THIS GODDAMN ERROR. Edit: It seems that roblox has fixed ths guys!

Error code 268 is sometimes a soft-ban, a soft ban is basically roblox telling you to take a break. It usually lasts 1-4 hours, but sometimes it takes much longer for some reason. The methods to fix it are: turn off and on mobile data/wifi/ turn on and off airplane mode, clear all roblox data and log back in to roblox, restart ur device, reinstall roblox. (If it lasts longer than a day, i don't really know what to do. Sometimes, it's a problem with ur Internet or can't connect to ur WiFi. Try playing roblox whenever u are at a different place like a hotel and use that WiFi.)

i have trauma cuz of this error I've been experiencing this since late 2021 after a whole day of no power when i first got it i thought i couldnt play again so i quit for a day then when i came back it doesnt happen anymore but when i logged in to another device it happened again when i broke my old laptop and started using my other laptop it wasnt happening again in mid 2022 but at the start of 2023 it started happening again until today and I've tried everything to try to fix this and nothing worked im not even using exploits,not logged in to another device, and my internet isnt even bad it randomly happens its not even an article on the roblox support and since then i had to wait an hour to play again but sometimes it still kicks me after an hour so i waited hour after hour until i could play again which is really time consuming and this error is also the reason why i quit playing my number 1 game on roblox in 2021 for 10 months which is piggy ever since i was getting the error i couldnt grind the season passes in piggy which annoyed me so i quit piggy until December of 2022 for the rb battles event and i only play it sometimes now cuz of the error

My experience with the error and how to possibly fix it: So starting off, don't ask ur mum to upgrade your wifi capacity because Roblox is the one with the problem I'll explain their problem and I'll tell ya how to possibly fix this issue So this error occurs often is possibly due to because Roblox fails to check the client properly and thinks it isn't compatible or while joining an experience, Roblox gets confused in loading the assets making it think the client is misbehaving. Another reason is because people are on school break so there's more traffic in servers Here's some ways you can fix this If you have another house you can move your PC there and play all u want Try unplugging your router for about 1-3 hours and plug it back in If you have the issue for a while, just spam rejoin until it lets you get in, you may have to restart your device if it still doesn't let you in after 15+ rejoins Wait for specific times, like 11 pm to 12 am or 6 am to 8 am because usually those are the times less people in your area play Roblox so less traffic VPNs (that are paid) because free VPNs will usually not work If none of these help then just stop playing for a week and it will be gone for a bit

1st reason why roblox thinks inno being exploiter: they're lazy to check your behavior nor your account, so they're relying on ai to do their job that doesn't actually accurate so some innocent getting ban/soft ban, because you afk all day/night which is kinda sus but ur obviously just grinding but because exploiter do the same then they're gonn have hard time just to find who's really exploiting so they do that because roblox employees wants an easy life. Its happen because nowadays many games use hop server, and if u not hacker and still got that error, 100% is because the game u play. Example is going to TRADING PLAZA in game its count as hop server and if u do many times this error will appear.

Some of the cases, the problem is not that you are hacking, but because your wifi provider doesn't support. I have had this since 26 march and is still happening to me for no reason at all. I never used any some kind of hacks, nor downloaded it. You can try switching to data but i don't recommend because it's gonna waste a lot. I've also learnt that you can only play in occasional time, like the best one is in midnight time from 10.30pm/11pm to 8am... yeah i know that's hellish just to play roblox but remember to not to stay up too late just to play this stupid dumb game (sorry i'm cussing because i'm also annoyed when this happens, i can only play like 5 times a day when i could join a game more than 10+ times) one more thing, if you switch to different wifi network, it will work and you can play roblox anytime without getting the stupid error 268 code.

Or if your roblox character gets bugged Its not a virus! Its just a roblox file that got moved by a game that has a huge impact of lag.
