I love how the reason why ABD became popular was not because of it's combat or graphics but because it was goofy and fun. Sure it may not have YBA's insane graphics and doesn't have the pvp YBA has but the silliness of the game was what made it different from all jojo games being created today, it was what made ABD special. I still miss the friends, memories, and the fun i made while playing the game. Still the best Jojo game ever.

Honestly the thing that set project jojo apart from all the other jojo games, even till this day, is just the amount of unique stands that no other jojo games ever even attempted to make. About Egoist, it's not that the blue lock hype died completly. You can see for example neo soccer league averaging a few thousand players at any given time, Egoist died due to the lack of updates and basically almost no major updates happened to add something new aside from maybe one or two updates

To clarify on why PJJ died- the game’s coding was incredibly outdated and messy, as stated by the owner himself. Mlg stated that it would be impossible to update the game in its current state and would need a complete overhaul in its coding, leading to no updates which led to the game dying- not because of the balancing.

​@@elitejc3039Truest words ever spoken. The fun came from experimenting with multiple fusion builds and doing millions of damage. It felt good seeing big numbers until damage system got "revamped" and it sucks. You can still 1 shot but it doesn't feel the same anymore😢

Seeing anime mania on this list had my jaw dropped. Glad to see other people like Techy remember the game, since it was really fun despite the bad graphics lol. I remember me and my friends in the lobby, glitching out with Katakuri and other characters to use abilities in the lobby (which you couldn't but we found out how), and also going to the place where we saw the assets load and even the gacha screen. Good times 😔 I know the game died off but it was still fun during release nonetheless because of its simplicity (Although Starrk was absolutely broken throughout LMFAO) But I haven't heard of the game that much after the Demon Slayer update though xd

As a sb2 contributer i can say Swordburst 2 definitely isn't forgotten, it's not as popular as it was before but right now it's over 1.5k players and still receives updates to this day and has it's own community still and for some is even preferred over the upcoming sb3

ABD held and still holds a special place in my heart, I personally started playing in 2020 without even knowing what jojo's was, something about it just kept pulling me around until I started to understand the basics, it sadly died because of AUT's rise and the lack of care for the game, one of the main reasons were SPOH being obtainable and the OG owner leaving, truly sad as I loved that game so much.

You kind of forgot to mention Reaper 2, the first popular Bleach game that I know. It didn't present any sort of content, but it's progression and quality was extremely dope. The two reasons why it sort of died out was because of Project Mugetsu's release and Reaper 2 practically having no other content than PVE and PVP. The good part is that Reaper 2 might get revived thanks to the more consistent and frequent sneak peaks. Lately, it's got at least 2k to 3k players every day, so one of if not the liveliest 'dead' games. Another Bleach game would be the aforementioned Project Mugetsu. Project Mugetsu was dropped because of how p2w it got, and it now sits at 50 - 100 players.

Anime Mania was actually REALLY fun, but it was it's imperfections that lead to it's downfall. Anime Warriors was also really fun, but.. pretty much the same reasoning as anime mania. There's also anime online, which I still find fun, despite it's problems. The devs, like these 2 games, had a good thing going, and blew it.

I used to play One Piece Bizzare Adventure (OPBA) a lot, the PVP fights was fun and entertaining, even maxed out on stats you wouldn't gotten bored. I still remember that player who had an overall ~250 stats and had fun fighting with me, who was maxed out. The guy did maybe 40% dmg of my hp. But the game died because the game was closed for an update. Stats were raised from 500 to 750. For some reason, the game closed again and reopened by Jumbuu for 1k robux so people could play it early. But... people thought they were scammed by him and decided to mass report him, getting him banned. He tried to do a comeback 2 years or so later with OPBA 2, only to get banned again and losing all his funds, thus giving up on the game in the end.

The biggest problem with project Jojo was how they just randomly deleted all of our hundreds of hours worth of progress in order to fix the code to really start to update it, which wouldn’t be a problem, if they actually gave us some of our progress back instead of just expecting us to grind daily just to get back to the point we were already at

With the addition of "Unobtainable crates", "UF," "Mythic skins", im not too sure about that, since its become heavily one-sided with its value only, the pvp sucks albeit and it is NOT fun, if thats how you see with it only the Economy keeps it alive right now, and the complete overhaul of pvp and the way it works was a bad remake to it tbh, even though it IS rising, i doubt it'll comeback to the former glory everyone remembers it by, we can still hope though

as someone who played the game right when it launched, well, somewhere near then, i can safely say old universe was WAY better than what we have now. when the NU update dropped, the game lost everything that made it AUT. old AUT had such a nice "homemade game" feeling that really set it apart from ABD and YBA in its early days. the poor yet fun graphics, large map, tons and tons of specs and stands being added is just a fraction of why its much better than current AUT. current aut feels like a cash grab, ive tried coming back in october of 2022 and obtaining the valentines day skin for D4C, but it didnt feel the same as AUT.

Demon Journey was my first ever Demon Slayer game and to this day i still think is my fav now, it didn't die ONLY due to new games but also because i remember when Stone Breathing got released basically the game was broke pretty much, for many players like me Stone Breathing didn't work NOW if you try to play it you will find basically a zombie of a game cuz it's "playable" but incredibly broken by bugs and other stuff also no one play it obviously. Amazing video honestly i felt incredibly nostalgic as i pretty much at least TRIED all of these games.

I admit that ABD updates were mid but due to lack of developers and lazy devs they cant do better Most of their updates during 2019-2020 were really quality tho such as TA4, Samurai, D4C:LT,... Sadly it died due to lack of both updates and moderation causing exploiters to appear more frequently in the game, they either ruin the fun or just playing around with their scripts ABD is really dry now and only has around 40-50 players at once

The reason why anime cross 2 died down is because well one the creator Seikirin just didn’t wanna update the game, Roblox update engines kept breaking the game itself, “create-a-character” (cacs) ran the meta, STELLA VERMILION, and the fact that Seikirin himself was working on a new anime cross ish game that promised beta players a character which that died too because he just didn’t feel like updating the game. It’s been 2 years since the new game he made been touched LOL

Alot of these roblox anime games really highlight the magic of earlier roblox developer determination. Sure these games don't amount to the crazy looks and game play of newer games. But it's the nostalgia and fun times that's what makes them better. That developer magic just got lost. As there aren't that many anymore that make games to truly make people laugh and be happy. A lot of ppl complain about Loomian Legacy's crappy boring story, but most of the other pokemon games are either just as bad or even worse, and of course its gonna take long for the devs to finish the big city update because they also have to come up new loomians that fits the theme like the current Atlanthian City where most/all of the new looms are aquatic related.

Dude.. I used to play way too many Roblox Jojo games back in the past, which did include ABD, ABD:Modded, Stand Upright, and Project Jojo. The majority of the Jojo games back then were just incredibly simple in terms of both storyline and controls, most of them didn't even have running and you would rely solely on constant dashing.
