You know what exclamation marks are for? I thought they were for when a criminal does a task but whenever I think I see the criminal and shoot it I’m wrong,and I’m pretty sure usually which one did that

the exclamation mark shows a criminal so follow the exclamation mark before it disappears or you will not see the criminal anymore because you were too slow to see the criminal
