Theory : The Bunny suit from Camping 3 was the Unknown Killer under the Suit. I think Zach Nolan did this because he killed a child before. During that Zach must've rusted the Mascot suit after..... The Incident of her daughter. Explains why Zach's soul is in the Suit that must've rusted in the Storage at the Academy after a Year. Would that Mean Mo's Academy took place before the Start of Hotel?

I honestly like all of these games, my ranking would me 1. Camping 2, 2. Camping 1, 3. Hotel, 4. Mansion (for obvious reasons), I never played camping 3, but it looks mostly fine, the main problem it suffers from is the perfect ending in camping 2, made camping 3's entire story suffer, we pull ANOTHER "He was brought back to life" which just seems like a cheap way to bring him back, especially after his daughter already went through that plotline, I think his ultimate redemption was cheesy and a bit anti-climactic for how fast it happened, I don't mind Zach's redemption, he backed himself into a corner with the ending, he needed a conclusion where Zach gets his redemption, but already established his death in camping 2, it was either the story presented or a story like this, Emma comes back to kill the other park ranger, and attacks them through the whole game, they have the boss like normal and then Emma would either just save us or sacrifice herself, Emma isn't a character we got attached to, we wouldn't get any satisfaction by Emma sacrificing herself for her Fathers mistakes, and to a certain degree, although she tried to kill us in multiple games, it wasn't her fault, and SHE was killed, I don't blame her for wanting revenge. So out of the only 2 real possibilities for villains and story, we got the better one, if there is one thing I could change, it would be the ending of camping 2, bring Emma into the game along with Zach, because in camping 2 it doesn't make sense Zach went alone considering her daughter was revived at that point, and at that point have the family return and have a similar scene to the ending of camping 3, and have Zach apologize, and after all he caused, he jumps, Emma joins him, (or some sort of conclusion where she dies) because the one unanswered question after camping 3 was "what happens to Emma now" and Emma dying would bring a sense of finality into the series, the story is done, no more people to revive them, no more games, the end.

While I agree with everything here. Camping 1 is definitely #1. Camping 2 is #2 and so on. And I can confirm that Camping 3 is, as you’ve suspected, definitely the worst. It just feels bland and distasteful unlike the original 4. Like it takes place in a snowy forest with the most boring dialogue and slowest, sloppiest setups. As you said the ending is also a dumpster fire. It’s just really bad.

I mean being the 5th installment of the franchise, 4 games over the span of like…. *checks dates* holy shit 3 months?? Ok surely it’s not that. They must’ve been rereleased at the same ish times. Ok so let’s just imagine like 3-5 years of development? That checks. So after 3-5 years of development, 4 games, about an hour of playtime, buncha secret endings and shit leading up to this one final game! All for it to be this wasted shadow of the previous 4 games. Like there are a million ways they could’ve made it really good or even just mildly intriguing. So I’ve proposed a few plot lines and lose ends 1. Emily becomes the new main villain. We have Zach I think in Mansion, Emily in Hotel, Nightmare in Camping, Zach again in Camping 2, and Zach AND Emily in Camping 3 as our villains. Though Nightmare wasn’t actually a villain. But uhm anyways. So I felt that they could’ve done more with Emily. She just feels lazily thrown in there at the end for the plot to revive Zach and then LITERALLY nothing else… like seriously! They could’ve done anything more anything else?? But no! She just is hinted at in Mansion, appears in Hotel, appears again unnotably in Camping 3. And nothing else for her! Just a stepping stone to get Zach back into the plot there. I feel like I’m repeating myself… Ok let’s just start over

Like what if Emily was a more bigger villain instead of basically being a stepping stone to pull Zach back into the plot and nothing else. I mean Mansion had Zach, Hotel did had Emily but not that major, Camping had Nightmare, Camping 2 had Zach again, Camping 3 had Zach and Emily, and technically Nightmare as well. I think Camping 3 should’ve had Emily as the main villain. Because as you said they established Zach’s death in Camping 2. Like “Perfect! Great!! A major villain that’s wreaked havoc and been the mastermind behind everything for like 4 games is finally dea-. What’s that? He’s back in Camping 3 erasing all that suspension and finality? Oh…” I mean think about it.. Camping 3 feels rushed and full, so if they made Emily the main villain it would’ve made much more sense. Bc she was basically the last villain left unchecked and un delved into. You know? Nightmare was a vengeful spirit who was actually the boy from the family of 5 who was murdered by Zach. And only wanted to save you from him. Zach was a loving father who lost everything when she died in the car accident so he did an Afton and brought her back to life and swore revenge on the family and everyone else. Definitely a broken villain. And Emily was….. well just his daughter. Appearing for a bit in Hotel. Then coming back to be a stepping stone to revive Zach!!! Then nothing else….. NOTHING!!!!! She could’ve been a REALLY good villain in Camping 3 if they set it up right like they did in all the other 4. And after Zach dies at the end of Camping 3. What the fuck happens to Emily? It just ENDS! Maybe they could do a Camping 4 which stars her?? Maybe… I hope u got what I was trying to say

My theory is that the mouse was Zack, and Zack was trying to hide from the cops in the mouse costume he made but he forgot he made it that anyone that would wear it would die and his daughter 1 year later revived Zack that died in the suit and he chased a cop to Snowy Peak were he killed the cop.

additional note, nightmare appears in camping 3 even after being set free for either a: since the campers in camping 2 have a determined fate, maybe they werent saved by the son, meaning zach is still alive so the son is still there. or b: the good ending in camping 2 happens, and the son was set free, only for a while because zach comes back in the mouse suit so hes back in his nightmare form again now that zach is still living.
