i remember a few years ago on Discord i joined a (at the time) small Discord server and eventually got Admin then we started making this little squad with the staff team of busting catfishers on Discord and we would have our own category/channels for our operations of the ones that got exposed and how you could spot a catfish and what to look out for, etc.. and we had busted quite a lot of catfishers too. But with all that being done the Discord server was getting bigger with over like 3000 members (when i had joined it only had like around 100 members). but unfortunately we had to shutdown the server cus it was becoming too stressful to maintain and pretty much loss interest. but now i think about it, it might of been a little cringe. but we saved a lot of people from being catfished. thought i'd share this little story here cus it seemed appropriate for this kind of vid.

dude this is such a bad thing to admit but here's a storytime cause it relates, when i was 10 i wanted to get girls and stuff (I'm a girl) just for fun and i wanted to feel how it is to be a guy so i catfished on roblox, this was in late 2019 and i legit used 4 different faces throughout the whole time (i used the same person for a good while then change it to another person) so i literally don't even know how they didn't catch on and i was a WHOLE KID but i was kinda mature but i also acted like a kid so idk how they didn't feel sus about that when i pretended to be the same age as them (this lasted until i faked being 16 when i was 12), and after like over a year i started feeling soooo guilty and wanted to tell them the truth but i was scared to lose them as friends, i was literally dating this one girl and then we had a whole friendgroup but then i was just terrified to tell them I'm a catfish and i would ALWAYS think about telling them but never got the balls to and finally in 2021 i got caught and IM SO GLAD i got caught cause i didn't have to tell them myself and the weight got lifted of my shoulders but i feel veryyy guilty to this day sooo yeaaah it was so bad i felt so so horrible 💀💀 I'm still friends with two of them which were my best friends but we barely talk anymore, like the whole friendgroup separated ways but yea bro never edate cause it's not hard to catfish, i was able to do it for 2 and a half years ish as the opposite gender, 4 years older than my actual age and my whole personality was completely different, i even faked my music taste idek why but yeah i was a literal whole other person it ruined how I feel about myself still rn cause i was that fake person for so long, i also now get told i act like a guy like no wonder bro i was legit faking to be one for over 2 years so it completely changed how i act 😬
