Theory: since grumbles are guarding their queen and usually in order to have queen there has to be a king so what if the castle is where the king resides, it would make sense because the grumbles pop out of the ground and try’s to attack the player at the end and prevent the player from entering because It thinks the player is attacking the king. Side theory: seeks the main antagonist cause he much more important than figure in floor 2 if you paid attention and also maybe seek wants something from the grumbles?

actually the queen grumble comes at the end however the queen might be protecting the king

The queen is not risking death becuase of us, the grumble variation we saw was probably a soldier variation. This means it’s more effective in fighting, but it still got one shot💀

Revised theory: Seek is the main antagonist right(probably), maybe he is protecting something in the castle because in the mines we see that he is coming from the pipes above. What if that the pipes are connected to the castle and seek is trying to prevent the play from getting to that thing. And for some reason the Grumbles also want that thing. You maybe asking that why the Grumbles just can’t storm the castle but I noticed that when opening the door the same symbol appears where you leave Rooms and Rooms is where curious light is, so the curious light is stopping the grumbles and the queen attacks because the door is opened but seek prevents her. If this is true than seek is much more intelligent and powerful than we thought and in floor 3.. well we’re cooked

I feel like seek are a hivemind of some sorts I mean if screech was a giggle at some point it means they look for other entities to convert and we are only furthering their plans i i also have a feeling that guiding light are no better than seek because since backrooms existed before the hotel but does guiding light tell us that no they want us to keep going and I actually think curious light is actually going to be the good guy I would need more lore implication on why curious light was in the rooms to begin with but if it is what I think it is yeah

Actually, Red has stated that seek likes to toy around with the player. So seek must've killed the queen grumble because he wanted to kill the player and not letting the other entities to do so.

​@levinour861 wrong you need a bottle of starlight, if you try to put it in the rift it makes a curious version? Only works one time but you can get it again, by that I mean you can have an item in their forever, but when you take it out the rift dissapears so you need to get another one

Something I’m CURIOUS about is if a new subfloor is added, what will Curious Light give us. Curious already gave a small, medium, and large version of his potion so what’s next? It has to be a new item I suppose or it can be an even grander reward or something more in the middle depending on how challenging it is to obtain. Unless Modifier Light gets her own part in the game and partially replaces Curious Light.
