I remember talking to my friend how ambush can appear on the 5th door because i read it on the wiki, and then ambush spawns at door 5. My friend died and i lived ( i was completely new to the game). Fun fact btw, that was my first ever encounter, and so if not for the wiki i would of have died. I feel like i need to point out that my friend died because of a missclick, just randomly thought i'd say that.

Hide is an interesting concept that needs to be put into more games in general. The idea of a “safe room” slowly (or rapidly) becoming unsafe is really good at putting players on edge and keeping them in motion. Silent Hill: The Room did this and though I may be wrong, maybe that’s where the idea of Hide came from?

I know this because I encountered it, it goes along the lines of: "It seems that something is stopping you from hiding, only hide when necessary!" help on how to survive all the monsters: Eyes - simply just look away. ok maybe not "simply" but you get what i want to say. Rush - when the lights flicker, quickly find a wardrobe/closet to hide in. it would be recommended to get in the wardrobe when you hear glass shatter, because that's when it gets very close. Ambush - same as Rush, but this time, when you go into the closet, you will see Ambush looking in the whole room, then leaving the way it came. you would go out of the closet at this point. Ambush will come back tho, and when you hear the buzz Ambush is creating getting closer you get back in the closet. you go out of the closet because Hide would kill you otherwise. you do this for a number less or equal to 5. you are safe when the buzz goes. Seek - you have to run as fast as you can away from Seek. when there is a room with multiple doors, you have to look left and right and be able to scan the room very fast. if the light is on neither of the doors on the left or right of you, go forward. the door on the other side of the room should have the light. at the last room, avoid the fire and hands as much as you can. press C or Shift to crouch for the first room. Halt - there are 2 indicators when you should turn around, the static and text saying either "turn around" or "run do it" which you should turn around and run the opposite direction, or when you see Halt, the spooky ghost, in which if you do, run the opposite direction. Figure/demogorgon lookin headass - do not get too close, if you sense he will come your direction, go back. if you come too close he will feel you and kill you. to avoid, press C or Shift to crouch, because you would make the most minimal noise. Figure is blind af but uses echolocation and all that sort of shit to catch you. Screech - when you hear a "psst" after a dark room, (or just after/in a dark room) look around as aggressively as you can. this blob will be somewhere around you, and you have to stare it down for it to dissappear. keep in mind, even if you derive it away from you, it will still scream for some reason Glitch - Note to you: stick with your team.

if you crouch during the seek chase you can more quickly maneuver the crawl spaces and make it harder for seek to catch up, make sure once you reach the doors you stop crouching as it will just slow you down past that point Edit: I understand this was before crouching may have been a thing to do here, but it works nowadays, so may as well.

Just a small correction: Glitch can appear without an alt, its just very very rare. It happens when a room generates wrong and is impossible, glitch will teleport you to a new room which is possible.

theres some that i would count as bonus deaths, dying to the figure in a hiding spot gives a unique death message. and failing to reach the elevator after it is powered on door 100 also gives a unique message. timothy wasnt included but the DESCRIPTION says that you KNOW already. (i also dont know if its actually possible, the people with *photographic evidence* never mention what the death message actually says. which i am curious about.)

The Timothy death is faked, as the death screen where you can spectate normally has 3 buttons at the bottom, a menu looking button to spectate without the weird death menu, a door button to return to lobby and the third one which I forgot but the image provided only has one button, a return to lobby button. I'm not sure if that's just a single player thing.

There is one more(I believe) that wasn't shown here, I got it by COMPLETE accident, it is on Door 100, I did the electrical box minigame, and after I finished I just stayed in the room. Figure ended up running to the elevator(he does this on Door 50 too) and once he got to the elevator I died instantly, not from him, but from not getting to the elevator before him. You can also die to the Figure on Door 50 if you don't get out of the library faster then he can get to the door. It doesn't show a jump scare but it does kill you. Edit: And of course this isn't in the video because nobody is stupid enough(like me) to stay behind even though the elevator power is on and/or the door to the library is opened.

There is one almost impossible death- "Died by Timothy". Timothy is a spider which you can find while opening the drawer with very low probability. He's dealing you a little damage but I think he can kill you, after looking on eyes. Phase 1. look on eyes until you will have 1% HP (need very good timing) Phase 2. have luck to find Timothy.

That’s actually because the room before that was bugged, it teleports you to the next playable room but doesn’t take your hp (it only takes hp when you don’t stick by your friends)

Read the wiki. It says there that Timothy will never kill you, even if you are at 5 hp or lower and it will leave you at 1 hp

theres another way to die, when you escape from seeks if you go to the door when he is running to you the game will glitch and he will go foward, some times later he dissapear and the floor dissapear. sorry if i speak english badly, im spanish xd

It Is not Every Death You Can die To Unknown... When Something kills You but Guiding Light doesn't know what Killed You. It Can Happen If Glitch Attacks you while Another Entity Attacks You. Same With Timothy That's what Will happen if Timothy Kills You.

True, but people can also encounter Ambush at like door 5-higher if they are INCREDIBLY unlucky (do you know how hard it is to encounter him below door 50?!), and I can imagine you’re a new player, dying to ambush, and the tip telling you to use the ‘info’ they learned from rush and them just being like “who’s rush? And what info??”

I actually want to point out a very interesting fact! Rush can be triggered and, if you're speedy enough, you can make Rush go through Room 50 to destroy all the lights. Particularly, I find this to be a funny thing to do given I'm about to die to Rush in multiplayer, and I simply wish to spite the people with me. Hard to do usually, but when you can do it, its hilarious leaving everyone in the dark with the blind monster. Also could POTENTIALLY allow for Rush to kill everyone if you get them out of the cutscene? Though I never got the ability to test. Original Comment prior to edit, this turned out to be wrong, and instead was a LUCKY failure of generation. Glitch cannot kill you, but CAN put you in situations that could result in death.: "I actually want to point out a very interesting fact! Glitch CAN kill you in singleplayer. Its hard, but if you manage to get lucky with room generation, and move fast enough whilst Rush is active, you CAN engage Glitch to attack you, EVEN if you're up front instead of behind. This will not only despawn Rush, but will engage Glitch to do their thing. This has managed to happen only once to me, and that was due to me getting Rush after encountering the Garden a few rooms back."

It appears as of late, I have read back on this, and have realized I was wrong about my initial belief that Rush being locked back would save you. Rather, I was lucky with room generation failing me. @@outofyourm1nd No, as long you lost hp, there's a slight chance you can get killed from Timothy. Its not the same as Jack (rarely pops our) tho, it just scares you but you take no damage but prevents you to not go in the dresser for a fefw seconds

Quick realising, when people say they encounter glitch in your solo run, rush opens around 2 - 4 doors before disappearing, so the AI of glitch will activate, then that's why, so glitch can appear in multi, just on certain conditions.

2 Random Stuff 1. rush can "die" if he goes into the rooms with the eyes (the rooms before meeting seek (2nd time if you are at room 80 - 90)) This is a easter egg so it probably wont affect gameplay. Also rush screams when he dies lol 2. ambush has HUGE hitboxes

Just a quick btw, the error/glitch isn't multiplayer only, it can also appear when a room fails to load. I've encountered it 3 times with friends and 2 times alone. !
