very clear API, so happy to finally have this! Alt detection is a big game changer, I wonder how it works, if it's easily avoidable or if it also catches false-positives (like people playing on the same network or families who game on a shared PC).

People playing on the same network won't be a problem, as the ban API uses MAC addresses, which are unique to every computer. So, if you wanted to evade a ban, you could use a different device unless if you know how to reset your MAC address.

No, I meant the Alt Account Detection API in Roblox, where Roblox is able to detect alt accounts. Not in Roblox Studio. Would it cause ban problems?

as a exploiter i cheat in roblox games i was testing a new cheat in aresnal and i got banned ofc but when i went to go into their game strike or whatever the name is i was also banned in that even tho ive never played there is an roblox script to ban people in all games u make which ive never seen before 🤔

Sucks that right now the command bar can't unban players since its not available in studio, just soft locked myself by accident. also alt detection does not work like at all lol. its just a MAC address so Its limited right now

Look you don’t exactly need data stores to ban a player but data stores are still key concepts you must get to save players’ progress so ofc you’ll need the data stores more than u think.
