tower defense simulator is a pretty good one but it gets boring after an hour playtime, but if you play like half an hour daily it will be super fun

The algorithm should focus on likes not player count. Because good games have a good amounts of likes compared to overrated roblox games.

Likes can be a good indicator of quality, but it can also be abused. But I definitely agree that player count should not only be the deciding factor for recommendation

when you've been working on a project for several months it can become exhausting and when there isn't a purpose it can become more unmotivating that's why most devs go for the money instead. also because making a game purely for passion means it will most likely flop because you're not optimizing the game to have good engagement, retention and monetization which are the key metrics to grow the game, therefore it would have no players and make no money
