"because children can, like, freely make their choice to work for certain people" that is a crazy take bro... children cant tell they're being exploited and roblox is most definitely exploiting their developers children are being told they can make money by making games due to robloxs marketing i think it's also ironic that you are playing a game in the background which is literally run by child exploiters (snow especially)

That’s just a background game i’ve been playing on this channel for ages. I personally dont have any opinion this situation. Children who are mentioned in the article are aged above 14 which is definitely an age where they can make responsible choices.

and the “certain people” part I said was mentioning the groups (big games for example, not that they do it i think) hire kids and pay them in robux in exchange for them developing on their games.

@@JamieYeOnline as a 14 year old with early-mid career-level programming and computer science experience, nobody my age should be investing the amount of dedication that it takes to work on a game in the scenario which both the studio and platform have all of the ability to mistreat you without proper consequences. this is exactly what is happening, i have witnessed it, and it will continue to happen. it is a shame that roblox is actively marketing itself towards and enabling the mistreatment of talented children through things like the Creator Hub. whilst the statistics that the law firm have cited are certainly fallacious and exaggerated, their claim that roblox is abusing childrens labour and talent is most definitely grounded in truth.

As far as the child labor stuff Roblox for the most part except some exceptions is not guilty. there are kids on roblox that "assist" in creation of big Roblox games and alot of the time might be exploited by other devs not Roblox.
