Selling price does not mean anything in terms of rap, low demand items often have a much higher selling price compared to the recent average price due the fact that there aren't many people that own that item.

I don’t think sharkblox explained rolimons part clearly. On rolimons, some items are “valued” about 10-20% more if traders trade more than the amount of RAP. For example, Legit fedora is around 11k RAP but 15k value. Some people abused this system and artificially pumped up prices just for the rolimons system to raise the value too (an example is CS). And right now, the value system will be not based on RAP, but based on trading proof

I hope they actually release some Original limiteds or ones that look like classic hats that can go high instead of these collab items. Maybe even some huge drops that have a limited ammount of purchases since some limiteds that got released recently have like 20k+ owners and it potentially ruins the value of said item. Usually when we got for example black friday sales, it causes a lot of limited owners to quickly try and sell their limiteds to buy the newer better ones and thats the perfect moment for people to start trading and buying limiteds but this will probably never happen so it will probably cause the roblox limited economy to inflate even more and become even more unfriendly towards newer traders. edit: And this saddens me because I worked really hard for an item and it ended up being around 45-61k but then my best friend at the time logged onto my PC and stole it from me and I don't see any possible way as to how I can get back up because there is no way for me to get any good items because roblox just isn't releasing good items anymore.

Also looked at trades i declined from like a week ago, and if i had accepted some, i would probably be at 60k ish value instead of the 32k im at rn

Basically any VALUED item that wasn't proofed based (meaning not based of of its rap, but it being based off of proofs so like if it gets overpay or lowballs and people are proving that) are now getting proof based because all the smaller items raised a ton because it was very easy to manipulate the value of it.

Honestly, what you basically mean by "cheap item" is items around a capability of $1, $5, and $10 to $75 worth of robux being put at a possibility of inflation. Limited items that be sold over 10,000 robux and more which is over $100 in USD are more likely expensive honestly. Some of us are poor and be on disability (unemployment) or work at low salary jobs that pays people like $25 or less.

he doesnt explain it very well in the video, so I will. Before yesterday, an items "value" was based on the recent average price it had, but then people started manipulating those items and mass buying them, driving the rap upward. value was something given to higher demand items like space hair, as they believed they were more valuable. for example space hair could be 11k rap and 15k value at a time. if its rap dropped or got higher, its value would follow suite. now with this new system, an items value will be based (instead off of rap) off of how much people give for it, so an items rap could be 10k but value could be 10k aswell because players don't want to give very much for it. The economy will now be more controlled by players instead of a rap based system as of this change. most of this probably does not make sense to people who don't trade, but I tried my hardest to explain

Ik this really doesn’t relate to the video too much, but I’ll tell you guys something that happened to me with my past friend back in 2017 I had this friend named puppylover10987654321, And we would always play stuff like epic mini games, Old kinda Roblox games. But one day while I was playing with her, I think I got another friend request. I always accepted people who sent me friend requests no matter who it is (keep in mind it was when I started Roblox) I was at max friends so I decided to unfriend someone when I pressed “Unfriend” on puppy lovers account. She also had a Roblox face; “Catching snowflakes” that I really loved and admired a lot. So every time I see it, I always remember her. She hasn’t logged on in like 1 or 2 years and I’m trying to get her back :( And I started trying to get limiteds to work my way up to the catching snowflakes. Thanks to inflation, that probably won’t be happening anytime soon because I only have low stuff, like the Gucci marmont bag. I also wanted to share that I think she lost the limited item by doing a bad trade or even just quitting and giving it away. UPDATE: I think she got banned maybe or I typed the wrong user :(

it could be because the roblox stock market is crashing and when you purchase any item or gamepass it takes 30% out of it so when the creator gets the robux the creator only get 70% of whatever is being sold so 5 rbx = 3 10 rbx = 7 100 rbx = 70 and so on and roblox gets that 30% from that purchase (not that they really need any more money they own a multi billion dollar company) or it could be because there still paying the music creators the money from all the copyright music rip audio 💀
