Tip! 7:38 : In this maze, you cannot go left, the lady is always there (sometimes shes at the right, mostly left) and, the door with the map above it is a safe spot, the lady cannot get in that room so if you see her, make your way back to that door. 11:17 : some of those statues move so be VERY careful when passing through the dark, they can walk and kill you in the dark but they cant in the light, so when you get into a light where a lantern is, always sprint to nearby lanterns , never walk in the dark And always use the maps, they help a lot! Fun facts about Chapter 1: Yes, the characters are confirmed to be Japanese, even the protagonist (Yasu Masashige). But what those fools don't know, is that in reality, she was just a caring mother who wanted the best for her daughter. As Futaomote was collecting berries for herself and Hiachi, she found a small, beautiful porcelain doll. The woman smiled and decided to keep it as a gift for Hiachi. After a few years, Futaomote went missing. Hiachi was all alone with her beloved doll, which she had named Shaku. She often talked to Shaku as if she was a human being, but little did she know that Shaku used to be a sick 14 year old girl who was deceived by ???. Hiachi took her pink hat and snuck outside with Shaku for an adventure. Upon her adventure, she stumbled across a Sakura forest, which had vibrant pink and red pattern, that had such a beauty that made Hiachi mesmerized. The figure did not say a word, but simply, stared at Hiachi with it's head slightly tilted. The figure suddenly changed it's appearance to what seems to look like Futaomote. The figure responded with having no friends, so Hiachi offered to be her first. The figure had no name, so she called it Sama. She visited Sama everyday, and she became like a mother figure to her. The figure then asked Hiachi a favor, and it seemed quite important. Sama asked Hiachi to take of the seal on the tree, so that they can go anywhere together without being separated. Hiachi, trusting her "best friend", tore off the seal little by little. After that, her vision went blurry and she started crying. Sama asked Hiachi if she misses her mother. "Yes, I miss my mama", Hiachi said as tears fell from her eyes. Sama chuckled and Hiachi became cursed, becoming one of Sama's marionettes. Shizu's lore: She was once a sculptor who's magnificent works were made with stone. She wasn't the best at socializing though, as she had anger issues. While she was sculpting, a woman whispered something to her and placed a white, glowing butterfly in Shizu's hand. Shizu, without realizing what was in her hand, squished the butterfly, and it got mixed with the stone. After a few weeks, her business started becoming popular. One night, she went outside her house and looked at the moon. She then slowly became one of her stone statues and ended up becoming stone. Biwaki/Hana: She was living in debt, with her father, Kaito Masashige and her older sister, Mihari Masashige. Her older sister was seriously ill, so she would take care of her. One day, Kaito came home with a biwa, and played it to his daughters. They could play the biwa well, so they tried to, but they didn't know that they were getting cursed. Mihari started feeling better as her father was playing the biwa, so she asked Hana/Biwaki to help her up. After that, a green(?) butterfly fluttered out of her chest, and she was devoured by Omukade. Hana cried and hugged her father as they turned into butterflies and became marionettes. Kuriko: She was a handicapped girl who's mother works in the imperial palace. She was quite twisted, but she seems stable around Hana. She spread rumors that Megumi, her mother abused her, even though her mom never did such a thing. One day, her mother went missing. She was worried and alone, and she got even more sad when she heard about Hana's disappearance. She met a tall woman coated in black. She trusted the woman when she said that she knows where her friend and her mother is. The woman threw her off the cliff and she woke up in a weird place. She saw Hana and hugged her tightly, as a green butterfly fluttered out from her chest. She then became one of Sama's marionettes.
