I haven't really. played celestial caverns that much, but why do you keep switching to the Solarium emblem before mining many of the ores? Does it give an XP boost or something?

There's a 10% chance to double an ore with the Solarium pickaxe, and a 0.5% chance to double an ore with the Solarium emblem. I equip both ores because there's an even slimmer chance to triple an ore if both components decide to double. This is handy for trades I make in the future with a few people in exchange for other ores
