Beta tester of Soda Thief Studios here, Bloxy took inspiration mainly from dead space for the setting and the interface on the back of players, which Halo inspired the guns, the graphics and some of the monsters concept (you can clearly see that the vessels (the name of the infected) have both the design of dead space and the flood, but you can clearly see the flood inspiration in the infection forms and the carriers).

I actually just started playing this yesterday. Found it really enjoyable, but there is definitely problems. The form of the infected that can spit as an attack for instance can hit through walls, and they can spawn on the side of the wall you haven't opened yet which just makes trying to progress a death tunnel and theres nothing you can do really.
